To the 20-something guy on North Park Street, lying face down in a puddle of alcoholism: I get that it’s Saturday night, and that drinking is fun. But, if you feel the need to get so intoxicated that you pass out in public, at least do it under the concealment of some well placed garbage bags. I don’t want to have to trip over your booze-basted corpse, and avoid your drunk, leering friends to get home.
There’s a religious based group meeting you might want to look in to.

And you didn’t call the police, why? He may have been intoxicated, he may have been in medical distress, he may have been robbed or a number of other things. What a good samaritan.
I agree with Bro Tim. When my blood sugars go too low I act like I’m drunk and eventually pass out i.e.: I could very easily be taken for someone who drank too much and passed out. Just about an hour ago I *did* have a hypo episode and I couldn’t even walk in a straight line and was slurring my words.
And so what if he drank too much? If he passed out he might have alcohol poisoning. Just because your moral standards don’t include those who may have issues with things (because you’re probably perfect, OP, am I right?) doesn’t mean they deserve to die.
I really hope that if you’re ever in that situation for any reason, those who encounter you don’t act like the big fat cunt you did.
He didn’t call the cops because Southern Ontario is back in town and a lot of people have a ‘could care less’ attitude about them, just like they have with people who have lived between Quinpool and Inglis all their lives.
Sounds cold, I know.
OP didn’t call anyone (probably) because the person’s friends were there too. They should be the ones taking care of this passed out idiot.
and a good time was had by all, at least they think they had a good time. maybe someone can tell them that, the next day, if they can remember also.ah, the young generation that can’t hold their booze, will it ever end, a big sigh.
Yeh Nevermind, lets just leave the life of someone in the hands of other potential drunken persons… Good call…
Didn’t say that’s what I’d do LOGiC. I’m just guessing on the OP’s motivation.
Been awhile since some of you have been downtown?
Heh, next time I see some girl on a side street holding another girl’s hair out of her face while she pukes up pizza I’ll offer some help. Hope they’re cute.
