To the full serve gas attendant on the corner of Robie and Young: I do not mind paying a few extra cents to see your face in the mornings. Even though I can never get there early enough to be the “first most beautiful” of the day you always make me smile. When others would complain about being outside in our weather, pumping gas for lazy folks all day, you see it as an opportunity to make everyone smile. You’ve mentioned a few times that your mom taught you to be that way. God bless her, and thank you times a million for all that you bring into our city. —Thankful in a Civic

Kevin is the Man. I haven’t driven since the summer, but I always fill up there because he’s there. He goes to the ends of the Earth for his customers.
He always tells me how his dad is doing.
Good dude.
Hey, Kevin! You make a lot of people happy just by being you.
