Out of curiosity, a speaker phone would be hands free, is there a portion of the law that dictates how far the phone has to be from the head?
It has to be free.. from your hands. As in, not in your hands. Is that seriously hard to figure out?
If that’s how its written that’s fair enough. I had no idea and was just curious. Although I’ve done much more distracting things while driving (or had done to me 😉 )
Maybe if the cell phones had speakerphones that actually got loud enough to hear in your car over road noise then you wouldnt have to hold it clsoer to your ear.
