Fed up of Christmas
FUCK CHRISTMAS, FUCK CHRSITMAS… stop fucking saying it… stop fucking playing it… stop fucking gloating it in the streets and waving it in my face, not everyone gets a magical day on christmas or ever has, not everyone is going to be smiling with th

bahfuckinghumbug to you too
lowest common denominator…. let’s drag everyone down to the lowest common demonintor… WTF?!?!?! Is this really the type of society anybody in the right mind wants? There will always be suffering in the world, all we can do is make the best of things and ALWAYS LOOK ON THE BRIGHT SIDE OF LIFE. I choose to celebrate, be resilient, be happy and be a beacon of hope & happiness to others. Merry Christmas!
just because you’re getting drunk alone on the 25th doesn’t mean everyone has to share in your misery. I plan on stuffing my face with a huge turkey and lots of stuffing and opening a shitload of presents with my family, so stfu and don’t ruin my fun.Sucks to be you, but really, who are YOU to rain on my (and by “my” I mean everyone else who’s lucky enough to have a good time during the holidays) parade? Maybe instead of getting drunk alone you could go help out with some of the shelters offering xmas dinner to the homeless? I’ve done it and it may even make you feel a bit better about the holidays instead of being one big bah-fucking-humbug.
Merry Christmas! I’ve already got the turkey on order, and I’ll be heading to a massive Christmas party this weekend. It’s not going to stop being sunny just because you don’t like light.
MERRY CHRISTMAS BIG OL GRINCH!! May your days be merry and full from the peace and good tidings our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ of Nazereth brought when He was born in this time of wonderment and love.May Santa Claus also be generous; and if you haven’t a chimney then perhaps he can climb out your asshole and give you the gift you really deserve: a lesson on how to loosen up.
Doesn’t sound like you guys have much xmas spirit to pass on either. Although the OP may have worded his bitch in a nasyt, insulting way, I can see his point. Try to think of how you’d feel if for some reason you couldn’t celebrate the holiday in the same way as everyone else around you. It must be tough on those who have no family or friends, nor the money to celebrate and they have to sit back and watch the christmas season go on for three freaking months.Pretty kitty- you’re the only one with a decent suggestion. If the OP can’t celebrate with friends, then he could find another meaningful way to take part..
Make some friends and stop the pity party.
ghost – been there, done that, on several occasions, and I found my own reasons to be happy(shockers, in part happy that other people could have a nice time). Didn’t give me an excuse to resent/envy everyone else because I was a “have not”.
The commercialism of christmas got me so down 4 years ago, I came home from the malls on Dec 20th went online & purchased a last minute vacation & I just packed my bags & went to the carribean for 2 weeks over christmas & new years that year. While down there It came to me that while I was having a great time, when I called home family members were distressed, we had left them. It had nothing to do with presents, but it did have to do with family & friends, good food, get together’s & all that. Now I never buy a Christmas present for anyone, & I refuse to accept a present from anyone. But I make sure everyone comes over during the Christmas /New Years Holidays for a big party, Lobster boil, Prime Rib & all the trimmings with drinkables of all flavors lots of sweets/treats for the kid’s & my family has come around to this idea. I also attend all friend & family activities as well. Christmas for me has never been better, the first year that my girlfriend & I tried this Mum was unimpressed with our stance on presents, but she loved the first time since we were born she didn’t have to do the big prep & presentation that was our family christmas dinner.Basicly I’m saying if the holidays the way they are get you down…then make a change that gets you back up again.Merry Christmas all
I don’t know about anyone else, but I kinda like getting stuff at xmas….so…yay commercialism!…just sayin’ *wink*
I’m not able to go home for Christmas this year, and will in fact be celebrating it abroad, where seriously, you wouldn’t even know it was christmas! No snow, no trees, no christian iconography (I’m looking at you Frosty), no nothing…So I’m barely noticing. But you know what? Yeah, I am going to get a little sad on Christmas day when I’m skyping my family and watching them have snowy winter fun, but I’m going to get the fuck over it and make the best of it. LOTS of people don’t do the traditional consumer western christmas thing, you’re not alone on that, and if you look around you’re guarenteed to find dozens of others like you willing to band together to make cookies or trim a tree or just eat some chinese food with you.
Chrsitmas is what you make of it, I have always hated christmas never had a good one but this year i was like alright i will try to have a good christmas. So I have done things that I like and ya knwo what? it is not to bad at all
Christmas, Christmas, Christmas, Christmas, Christmas, Christmas, Christmas, Christmas, Christmas, Christmas, Christmas, Christmas, Christmas, Christmas, Christmas, Christmas, Christmas, Christmas, Christmas, Christmas, Christmas, Christmas, Christmas, Christmas, Christmas, Christmas, Christmas, Christmas, Christmas, Christmas, Christmas, Christmas, I bet you won’t be celebrating the New Year either. Anyway, make yourself a resolution, stop being such a dick and find somebody to celebrate Christmas with you. No wonderyou’re going to be alone on Christmas. Oh, and……….if you’re going to bitch about newyear:HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!! How’s that grab ya, Grinchy?
You Maritimers sure are a childish bunch… It makes we wonder why I bother to come out east and entertain you… I can’t wait to get the fuck out of this backwater burg, and leave all you pathetic losers behind…
Who are you entertaining, and how are you entertaining them? I was making a point. OPcan obviously do something about this, but wants to turn it into a problem. Is OP an orphan? I don’t know, but orphans usually do have some family. Is OP homeless? I highly doubt it. Is OP abandoned? I don’t know. Abandoned by whom?OP must have at least one family member to spend Christmas with. If not, it wouldn’tsurprise me if OP was at fault, and caused the others to abandon him/her.OP doesn’t realize that there are people who have it worse than he/she does. There arepeople who have it worse than orphans, the homeless, and the abandoned. You haveto see some sort of light in every situation. OP doesn’t, so it doesn’t surprise me thathe/she is drinking alone on Christmas, and I have no sympathy. Find somebody to celebrate it with. Don’t try to make every one else sour and spoil their fun. Again, New Year Resolution for OP, get up off your drunk ass and FINDsomebody to spend it with. Go to “plenty of fish” or something, go to a pumpkin patchnext October, or flea markets on Sundays, or to a skating rink on free public skate daysif that’s something you like to do. Get out there and socialize with people. Make friends, and find a mate. You’re not going to get any better sitting on your ass, getting shit-faced,and felling sorry about yourself.
I spent my last 4 Christmases in the Middle East, so no family and all my friends are Muslim and the very few non-Muslims usually find a way out of the region for the holiday. (This year I’m extremely lucky in that I’m back in beautiful Halifax for the season 🙂 ) Now usually when I’m over there you don’t see much to remind you of Christmas and I forget the day even happens, and to be honest I haven’t thought I’ve missed it much.Last night I got the opportunity to go to a tree lighting, where there were kids in an ecstasy of happiness in anticipation of Santa and cookies. The look of excitement on their faces was enough to bring me to tears and realize just what a gaping hole there’s been in my life the last four years. Christmas is a beautiful season, regardless of whether or not you believe in the religion behind it. It’s a festival that everyone can be a part of. OP I suggest you go out to the malls, or take a walk downtown or go to a public event. Instead of bitching about the crowds or complaining about the same carols over and over again, look at the face of a child and see the holiday through there eyes. Perhaps it will take you back to when you were a kid, or perhaps you’ll see the joy that can be found in this wonderful holiday.
Did I miss somewhere who Desi is in his halifamous life?
I’s nearly sure the Desi posting here can’t even carry a tune let alone provide quality entertainment for a lifetime… beware of this Desi… Desi the Impostor
Oh so there’s TWO Desi’s now are there… LOL…Well why not put your Desi on here and let him speak for himself… We can have a little tete-a-tete… you know Desi to Desi…
Hey Hedgyhog, maybe we’re in the same country- your ‘no trees’ comment really made me wonder. There’s no snow either, but the tree part…I really, really miss trees!!
Who is this Desi that you speak of, anyway? Since, there are “two of them”? I don’t know whoyou’re talking about, Kay.
I mostly just miss grass a 😉 oh how i miss grass…..green anything. I went and hung out in the one golf course here the other day just to look at it and bask in it’s glory.and both desi’s are the voices bubbling in Kay’s head. ignore them- shortly her pills will kick in and they’ll both go away again for a while 🙂
