So here I am. I’m walkin’ down my street, and I come to a crosswalk. The kind people in the cars see me. They stop. I start to cross, and out of NO WHERE, a bicycler runs directly into me, causing me to actually be propelled into the air, and land on the hard pavement.
Yeah, just so you know, pavement is NOT made out of sunshine and cotton candy clouds. Thanks for calling me a wimp.
Also, thanks for the bruised ribs, jack ass. —Unfortunate Soul

This rooster-kisser actually called you a wimp, for failing to appreciate being run into? He’d have been plucking spokes from his glory hole for the next 3 days and wearing his spandex pants like a party hat.
*Sound the klaxon. Internet tough-guy alert.

Send in the Grief Councillors – I fucking detest those pouty, holier than thou, let me kiss it and make you feel better shitbags; latest appearance is for the 2 SUV thieves who joyrode into a couple of power poles (rate increase?) and finally came to rest, eternal as a matter of fact, in Sydney. Grow a fucking pair, croaking is part of life, stick the teddy bears and candles used in your make believe shrine, right up your arse.
I DO NOT think the cyclist came “out of nowhere” as you claim! Was this ET and Elliot on the bike? So, you proceeded to cross the street when clearly it was not safe to do so. The kind people in the cars saw you but the kind soul on the bicycle did not.
Your bruised ribs and jacked ass should be a lesson for the next time you cut off a law-abiding cyclist.

PG – hilarious!
what the fuck are you on Koda???
clearly the cyclist was in the wrong here.
do you think the OP INTENTIONALLY got pegged by the cyclist?
what the hell would there be to gain from that?
Eggzzz… didn’t you know , cyclists can do no wrong.
Anything they do that you believe is wrong is simply a mistake on your part !
Here in the kingdom of Spring Garden I see cyclists roll through crosswalks all the time, even as there are cars stopped for the length of the block letting the pedestrian cross.
If you’re on a bike and don’t stop for crosswalks, keep your complaints to yourself about not being given your right of way by motorists. You deserve a stick in your spokes and the afpre-mentioned klaxon up your shitter.
Wp
Did you report it to the police? If the cyclist took off, it was hit and run.
bikes are classed as a vehicle, and as such, are required by law, to obey the same rules as car and truck drivers. therefore o.p., he/she, was in the wrong, and you should have kicked the fuck out of the bike, then the rider.
either that,or have someone call the cops, and make sure asshole did not leave the scene. i got hit by an idiot like this, bout 20 years ago, and grabbed bike from him, and threw it over the bank, and told him he was next. boy just fucked right off, and he had about 50 pounds or more on me.
going nuts on people, sometimes pays off.
Ya got that right Life Sucks. You don’t even have to hit them, just give them the ol’ Crazy Eyes and the sharp side of your tongue!
Ugggggg I see this happen often – also in the land of Spring Garden. There have been several times I’ve almost gotten hit by a cyclist while in a crosswalk. Sometimes they’ll be biking behind you and fly past you in the crosswalk, inches away from hitting you. I’m clumsy and don’t often walk in a straight line so biking that close to me is a bad idea. I need an eye in the back of my head. Although it wouldn’t do me much good with all of this hair.
Cyclists like this one are nothing but a menace to general street traffic and pedestrians. Often doing things like this on the streets, or zipping along on sidewalks as if they were the Tokyo Express, without a care for anything in their path. These cretins are a scourge and eventually may be the reasons why cyclists may be required to license their ‘vehicle’ and maybe have an actual cycle driver’s license, as well. After all if someone needs to do that to drive a motorcycle on the roads, a bicycle rider should be considered in the same light.
Years back I never thought that way, and was all for road freedom for riders of non motorized cycles. But with the increase in general bike traffic and the seeming increase in the number of idiots who are driving bikes, perhaps it is time for the province to claw some money out of them. And also it may be easier in the end to track down those who flaunt the laws of the road. Sadly, if they cause an accident they are often good at vanishing without a trace and avoiding responsibility, cowards that they are.
The cyclist was clearly in the wrong but you’ve got to be careful out there!
…fuckin’ arse-peddlers

This is the truth, Cyclists beware.
