Why does everyone feel like they need to crawl over the bump on the bridge like an anxiety ridden 90-year-old woman? Obviously don’t fly over it, but good grief it’s not going to snap in half. Traffic crawls toward it and then once cars are past the “scary danger zone” they resume a normal speed. You’d think people would be over this by now.
PS: The slower you go over the bump the higher the chance of that big thing dropping on you. Think about that. —Just Call Me Merida

  1. Don’t think it has anything to do with the piece dropping… I think it’s that people are being gentle with their vehicles. You know how potholes cause damage? Reverse is true as well.

  2. After reading your rant, I can’t tell if you are being serious or sarcastic. I suppose these same people slow down for potholes in fear of falling in them. Mind you, there are some pretty big potholes in and around HRM.

  3. No kidding about our shitty roads and these massive potholes.
I’m thinking of moving into one….
It’s quite spacious and the rent has to be cheaper than any other places around here.

  4. Some people dont want to destroy their already shitty year 2004 vehicles> I slow to a crawl when I hit those fucking bumps. And if you decide to honk your horn because you feel I’m too slow, guess what?! I come to a full stop for at least 15 seconds. Enjoy my bumper, motherfucker.
