To the fast food franchise on SGR, yeah you know your service sucks! I know that management has the last word on how many people are on a shift at any given time but seriously, you all could try a little harder to serve your customers quickly and with a smile and keep the place tidy. To be sure there are a few people who were doing their jobs but the front end staff sucked at service. Until things improve I’ll be getting my fast food fix at another place. —Getting it to Go Somewhere Else
This article appears in Jun 2-8, 2011.

If this is the restaurant I’m thinking of, you’re out of your freaking mind, OP. I’ll treat myself a couple times a month and every time I”ve gone in during peak times (breakfast or lunch) and I’m in and out within 5-10 minutes.
They work their butts off there and I have no complaints whatsoever.
serving and keeping places neat and tidy, are two different things altogether. you can’t do both at once, or someonelike you, will bitch.
Contact that fast food chain’s head office and you won’t be surprised to learn that locations often receives less than satisfactory assessments. That place is a shit shack but then again, fat people don’t care where their food comes from, or how dirty a place is, as long as the food gets down their throats.
Maybe they should cook everything the night before and put them under heat lamps so you get your instant service. What an idiot.
Sebastard is great at analogies! He uses his own sexual experiences to describe the eating habits of fat people.
Think about it, guys!
It’s a fast-food restaurant……..ffs, service is not a priority, hell meat isn’t a priority either!
OP,
For the love of all that is decent and kind and healthy, go somewhere else when you’re hungry. Your fast food habit is killing you, little by little, bit by bit.
When someone tells you that a hamburger patty is 100% Beef, what they mean is that everything in the patty came from a cow, but you shouldn’t assume that it came from a part of the cow you’d really like to be chewing on.
tits, tails, necks and assholes. yummy…seriously how hard is it to make your own lunch
You’re taking your business elsewhere? I am sure the minimum wage earners on the front line will find it TRAGIC that they have one less customer to serve.
Or maybe you could tell someone who actually gives a fuck… such as the manager or even franchise owner. It just takes a phone call or a visit.
CE: fast food here or there isn’t going to hurt anyone. Not as long as they eat a balanced diet for the most part.
I treat myself to mcdonalds or burger king once a month or so when I have my monthly “eat whatever the fuck I want” day. During that day I am neither fat, nor diabetic and I usually indulge in the HD ice cream, some fast food, some dill pickle ruffles, maybe some homemade hamburger helper (KD and hamburger yum) anddddd some smirnoff ice to wash it all down and I’m healthy as a frigging horse. 🙂
I get the general sentiment, but my GOD I’m sick and tired of people telling others how to live their lives esp when it comes to their health. It especially rings true with fatties. Everyone and their dog seemingly feels like they have a right to make the health of fat people their business.
No offense, or anything CE, but people (esp thin people re: fatties) really need to mind their own business.
if this is the arches, I can recall on many occasions where the service was slow…
it’s what you get there.
and no, I’m not basing it on sunday morning @ 3am.

it’s otay pk, i had ringalos for dinner last night
I had a can of chicken noodle soup, PG and a can of tuna 🙁
Canned food’s bad for you PK! You should really try to live healthier :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):) couldn’t resist
But PK, if my friend is living really unhealthy and is really overweight and continues to eat takeout and sit around smoking weed and playing Xbox and watching documentaries, becoming increasingly depressed and useless, I feel like it’s my job as his friend that cares about him to try and convince him to improve his lifestyle, even though, you’re right, it’s none of my business. But if he were to die from a heart attack tomorrow we’d all be saying that we should have done more to save him from his shitty living habits.
Not really an argument I’m just saying that we shouldn’t ALWAYS be afraid to tell someone that they ain’t livin right. It’s called intervention. Ya feel me?
I hear what you’re saying about people assuming someone is unhealthy because of their weight, and then even going as far as to talk down to you for eating something.
That’s some bullshit, but if someone you care about is eating themselves to death you should have that difficult convo with them at the very least, you’ll wish you would have if their habits do kill them.
You can’t always save people fromt themselves though, I don’t usually try because hey, I got my own issues to deal with and they’re grown, but still, when my close friends develop potentially fatal habits, whether it’s drugs or eating like shit all the time, I feel it’s my duty to try and steer them off that path, without trying to be their daddy.
PK,
I never mentioned fatties.
My beef was with the patties.
McGroan, Comandante…..thanks for that ‘nugget’! lol
mmmmm paingirl….ringalos are one of my faves…although I don’t think I’ve ever had them for dinner before
i blame the back pain, it doesn’t do much for my appetite. we are having this tonight http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_og-G8_qS5PI/SJ25…
*not exactly as illustrated*
ooh wow! That looks delish…I’ll be right over lol
even tho we don’t have the greatest/biggest bbq, there isn’t much that i can’t cook on it http://img.foodnetwork.com/FOOD/2010/06/17…
mmmmmm , I LOVE roasted veggies!! mmmmm asparagus, portobellos…..Damn, PG, you’re making me hungry!
If this is the place I’m thinking of (Just Lovin’ It) Stay away from the washrooms. The homeless use them and it just turned my stomach to take in the aroma.
our bbq died before the winter and we just got a new cheapie. i’ll grill in any weather, wish i had propane inside
haha senor, there goes avasto’s appetite^^
Going there on a friday night is like the equivalent to an underage bar. Especially the bathroom *gag*
I agree with you PK, people think they have the right to judge what someone’s eating if they’re a fat person. BUT, at the same time I can totally see where Tommy is coming from. I’m fat and my parents try (without hurting me) to get me to live a healthier lifestyle, as have a few of my friends. If you care about someone, you don’t want to watch them kill themselves, then when they do die wish you had said something. It’s all about the approach. HOWEVER, I think for most people (myself for sure), it’s about making that decision to do it yourself, and for yourself. I’ve often tried to lose weight and just went back to bad habits. But two weeks ago I had enough, and made the decision on my own to do something about it. I’ve already lost 11.5 pounds in just over two weeks!! Yay me lol I am waiting until I go home to treat myself to BBQ hot dogs lol
Congratulations, PurpleFire! Good for you. I too have some weight to lose, (this is the biggest I have EVER been), and for me it’s trying to keep motivated. It kills me everytime. But 11.5 pounds in 2 weeks? Wow! That’s definate inspiration. Keep it up.
