OK , the goddamn sign says 1- 10 items , so you abacus breed fool learn to count.
You come with 20 loaves of bread , who knows how many Eggo’s , 4 pizza’s , etc etc etc. Then get upset when the cashier tell you that you have too many items. OH YEAH MORON , I KNEW YOU WERE STUDIP ENOUGH TO SAY THAT THE 20 Loaves of bread are one in the same. Right when I go to your fuc&%$* corner store can I buy 1 and get 19 free ?
Follow the rule , or should I say tankberrymuc.
—2 items and out

Yeah, I’m sure it’s only non-WASPs that abuse that rule 😛 Douchebag.
I have seen people try to through with a full cart.
I was at a place once .. it was late so they only had one checkout open with quite a few people waiting. I was just buying a sandwich so the lady at the customer service counter got my attention and said she could ring me in as I just had one item. Before I had the chance to hand her my sandwich a lady with a cart full of shit pulled up in-front of me and said she was first! …and so she went first and I just stood their quietly muttering profanities.
Most grocery stores aren’t too strict about this 10 items or less rule. I’ve often been a very bad boy and gone through with 11, even 12, and have gotten away with it. Naughty me!
If you’re getting, say, 12 onions individually, does that count as one or 12 items?
“Abacus breed fool”? What the hell, man?
I love when people misspell “stupid” when insulting someone.
I WISH that more cashiers turned people away like that. Man doesn’t get bug me when I go it to pick up a couple things (gr pepper and hamberger) and there is a shit load of people with full carts in the 1-10 line up. It would be nice to have their stupidity pointed out to them. FAAACK
I agree Enough Said. If you have 11-12 items for the 10 item line, that’s fine. But if you are running through with a cartload of crap…c’mon!! My rule of thumb is, if it doesn’t fit in a basket, get in the other line.
I have had the cashier at the speedy lane tell me to bring my over-the-limit cart to her cash when no one was at it. Then, when someone came up behind us, they started scowling and making noises about how inconsiderate I was even after the cashier explained.
I’v had the cashier tell me that multiples of one item can count as one item. I don’t think he ment 20 bread count ing as 1 but 3 were ok. lol If its busy be considerate and move. Now if the register was programed to accept only 10 items before it totalled up automatically that would solve a few problems. Especially for the cashiers. “Sorry I can’t ring all that in in one transaction but cash 3 can.” See no hard feelings.
Hell, I would rather someone try and take 20 items through in front of me than to have to deal with a bigot like the OP.
Feck man seriously…what are you…STUDIP? LMAO you are such a JACKASS.
Having 10 of the same item is not one item no matter how you try and talk your way into or out of it; its 10 items.
When I worked at the NSLC years ago, I had a customer try telling me that “not giving him a promo” when he bought three 8-packs (making 24 cans) was “blatant false advertising”. In his mind, buying 3 totalling 24 was a 24-pack while the promos were only valid with 24-bottle packs. He was convinced he was right after the manager, a promo worker (who happened to be visiting) and myself explained to him that he was wrong. We even showed him the promo rules (aka the fine print) that came directly from the company and he was still convinced he was right.
Asshole didn’t get the promo but he still bought the three 8-packs. Then he came back the next day; no attempt at an argument then.
they are either expert at math and can’t read, or an expert reader that can’t add.
Ok…I avoid plastic bags at all costs, including the thin ones used for produce.
So…while many would put their 3 apples into one of those bags, thus making it one “item” for me it’s 3 items because I don’t want to use a plastic bag?
I say if your gut tells you, even for a moment that being in that express line is wrong, then stay out of the express lane.
Abacus breed fool, I gotta use that one sometime.
Debit and credit cards shouldn’t be accepted at the express lanes either. What the fuck is the point of making it an “express” lane if the person in front of you is taking forever to use their stupid debit or credit card? And the 1-8/10/15 lanes don’t necessarily constitute “express” lanes in my opinion. I’m just talking about the ones that specifically say “express lane”.
It usually takes less time to print out a receipt and get a signature than it does for some of these brainiacs to count out your change. Never Wrong… tap-n-go. Relax.
PDG, I don’t think you should use that sometime. I think it’s a racial slur.
This goes hand in hand with the express lanes at Wal-Mart. I hate seeing people take 15 items (8 is the limit) and then have to get help from the CSR because they don’t know how the machine works in the first place.
Is “Abacus breed fool” a racial slur? I Googled it out of curiosity and couldn’t find anything on it. Can someone clarify? I noticed a few other posters insinuating that the OP was making racist remarks.
Someone should probably complain about the self-servers @ Superstore about now….
I don’t think it’s a common slur…but take “abacus breed fool” + “convenience store” and “tankberrymuc” and I think you have a sterotype.
Putting 2 and 2 and 2 together and getting 6. Makes sense.
