Better move all the poor people to the sewers then, with all those people away from the surface we’ll have extra room, and we can get you back your blue sky by clipping off the tops of buildings, and tearing down all the vacant slums.
Look up?
Seriously…Halifax really doesn’t have that many tall buildings and for a city this size, an abundance of lakes and green spaces. Maybe walk a few blocks in any direction?
I agree with Hoist. Besides, money will always trump view.
The solution is obvious. You can’t beat ’em so join ’em. Move to the top floor of one of those towers. The view is awesome and you’ll never miss another glorious sky.
I hear Lunenburg has some vacancies.
If you don’t want to live in a city, don’t.
For fucks sake, just look up if you want to see the goddamn sky.
Holy crap we can’t disrupt the scenic view of Citadel Hill now we’re disrupting the view of the sky. Where the fuck are we supposed to build?
Calling all mole people! Calling all mole people!
You always have the option to do what everyone else does. Buy a nice piece of land and a house with no neighbours for miles and have all the sky you want in rural NS!
Unless you are rooted to the spot for some reason, as others have stated just walk a block or two and there will be sky aplenty for you to enjoy. After all this is not a huge town and the few tall buildings here are barely mid-sized compared to many actual cities.
