EVERYTIME I see the add that says
“matches have heads, no brain, use yours when you use them”
I want to scratch out the word “matches” and write DICKS.
I think it would work SO much better for a anti-pregnancy add. Just sayin. —Use your brain

Uh huh… except that would imply that pregnancy is only the dick’s fault… and therefore only the man’s fault… and that’s a load of bullshit. Responsibility falls on both parties.
If someone really wanted to pick apart your ad they could even argue that it implies men don’t have control over themselves when they get horny (also bullshit), since dicks are actually part of a man’s body rather than an inanimate object like a match.
And why anti-pregnancy specifically, what about STI’s?
Besides anti-pregnancy means that you’re against people getting pregnant, not that you’re for people being responsible while having sex to avoid unwanted pregnancies. Unless you really are against pregnancy.
It works better as a fire safety ad.

But if you use “Di&*s”, wouldn’t the sentence sound funny with plurals at the end? “Use yours when you use THEM”…. Unless you are only targeting gay males…or ladies who interact with more than one male at a time….

I just hate that ad for the terrible grammar. Surely firefighters could have afforded an advertising agency that can construct a proper sentence.
