I have been told that the word “thank you” has magic properties. I say it a lot. Makes me feel good, and I have drawn more smiles from saying “thank you” than I ever did saying “sorry” or other similar words. Oh, I remember now, I read this research one scientist did on ice/snow crystal formation. When water was frozen in a container with label “thank you”, the crystal formed in that container was well formed and beautiful. When the container was labelled some negative word, the crystal formed was deformed. The scientist concluded that since our bodies are made largely of water, words should have same effect on our bodies.
Believing in “magical forces” is delusional. Attempting to measure potential energy is not. Having an outlet for negative energy like LTWWB is a GOOD thing.

I didn’t say I believe in “magical forces”. I just said I practice (or try to anyway) being appreciative of others around me. Saying other people suck because they do not share your beliefs is immature, uneducated, and rude. (I agree with Dr. Fever that kay writes in a very immature way, perhaps more so than most 16 year olds I have encountered.)
Also, I have never said having an outlet for frustration is a bad thing, but I do not think that consciously and purposefully directing negative words (and energy) towards others is productive. Disagreeing with others is one thing; calling them asses is totally uncalled for, when others are simply arguing your point, stating their opinion, or pointing out flaws in your argument.

To six stars, I think we all go through majorly crappy moments or a period of time in our lives. But they are usually temporary, even though they may sometimes last for a couple of years. I had one such period, main part lasted 2 years or so, and took about 5 years for it to finish up. I won’t list the details here, but it was the most painful years of my life up to date.
