This is the best time of year to make changes in your life. Get outside, enjoy the sun, and get a job that doesn’t make you want to hide under your blankets. Many people have the same problem you have. I applaud you for admitting to how you feel because it is hard when you have problems that hold you back. I hope that whatever you try works for you.
Everyone can relate to your eyes paining after being inside a room on a sunny day with the curtains drawn;then stepping outside into the bright sunshine.Eventually your eyes adjust to the bright sunshine and the pain stops.
It’s hard to stay positive when your up to your eyeballs in shit…Some days it’s almost impossible to trudge through it…..Being lonely only adds to the shit.
Can you borrow a dog? They’re great for making you feel better about yourself, and exercising them is really good for you.

I saw a French Mastiff 2 nights ago off Spring Garden Rd. Big red bastard. Amazing they went into battle with the Romans.

Newfoundland dogs are gorgeous..Not a good lap dog,though.
Certainly would keep you warm while sitting next to you on the couch, while watching TV.
I like small dogs.They can comfortably curl up on your lap,
I suggested on a different post by someone unhappy that there are dogs at the shelter who would be overjoyed if you would take them for a walk. or go cuddle the cats at the shelter. if you are not working, volunteer somewhere. do something for others without expecting benefit to yourself. unfold yourself outwards.
hoist, it can happen. that’s one of the best goals I have heard. I waited 50 years to get to that place. don’t wait that long, the dogs await you.
