I’m glad I have a job to go to but the first day back after vacation sucks. Just sucks. I’m sure the work has piled up on my desk and everything will be ‘urgent’ when I get back tomorrow.

  1. Oh it’s not all that bad. Just put a sign up saying “Do not disturb.” Thankfully my coworkers all help cover my work while I am on vacation, and I do the same for them when they are away. Maybe you could offer to help others and they will offer to help you.

  2. Ugh, I hear ya… I’ve been slacking all day. It’s like a vacation hangover that has nothing to do with external substances – just the lack of freedom post vacation.

  3. most times you need a vacation, to get over your vacation. i hate going anywhere then having to come back. when i win the big max draw, i retire, forever and roam this rotten earth.

  8. Working 9 to 5, what a way to make a living…

    I, too, sometimes wish I could be a lumberjack or something out in the great outdoors rather than being stuck in some boring office job. Love the money though, but it’s fucking mind-numbing!

  9. OP. Ditto. That’s why I couldn’t sleep the day before I went back to work after my one week vacation. God only knows what would happen if I took two weeks.

  10. don’t take any vacation and you can slowly go right round the twist, then everyday is like a vacation from reality. rawk
