The greatest transit issue before Google maps was the halifax transit websites maps. You’d have to download your route, then when you got the route, it wasn’t even over a map. They have competition policies which restricts the sale of tickets and passes by other retailers based on proximity to each other. I imagine that’s why you won’t find them as easily as you might think.

When I hear of friends waiting for a bus that doesn’t show up for over 45 minutes, it tells me the system is broken.
It doesn’t matter if places do or don’t sell tickets, having a fistfull of tickets won’t help you if your bus never shows up.

OP, if you can’t plan ahead for transit tickets, I suggest that you do not buy a car. With a car, you have to put gas in it before you go somewhere. This is too confusing for you. I suggest that you do not spend another minute thinking about it.
What in the actual fuck are you talking about? Tickets are sold in the store RIGHT INSIDE the dartmouth transit terminal and also at shoppers drug mart across the street. They are available at scotia square lawtons as well.
