To the two amazing EMT’s that helped my dad and I yesterday (?) with my mom who has dementia: Thank you times a thousand times for being so kind and patient. I know you are thinking that it is only ‘your job’ but it met the world to me and dad. Thank you for everything – it made a difficult situation much better. And to the male nurse who helped my mom just before we left – I apologize for being a bitch- I was tired and frustated and wanted to just go home.
