I wonder whether we will ever see email navigation buttons placed in proper canonical order. Conventional wisdom predicates that to go into the past one must go “backward” hence, the “older/previous/prior” link should appear leftward, and have a left arrow (or up), and link to a message that arrived at a LATER juncture.

It really is pretty fucking simple. It would then adhere to the left-to-right/top-to-bottom convention employed in virtually every aspect of Western society, and the world would be a better place. That this is not aphorismic drives me fucking nuts.

This current system is fucking clown shoes. —Sam J. Research

  1. simple maybe, but then it wouldn’t piss you off, now would it. then we would have no fun reading you ranting on here about stupid shit. check out murders, rapes, scandals sometime, o.p.

  2. Gezzz, how much time do you spend on the computer ? Get outside for a walk or something , you sound like you could use it.

  3. Use a email client system like Thunderbird or Office then… both systems allow you to get your email in an offline setting, and have said functionality.
