So now we have a clusterfuck of morons saying they’re going to run for Mayor this year. First we have our current incompetent Mayor seeking to be re-elected…..let us not forget where that has gotten Halifax thus far (no where). Now we have a political failure with rumors he’ll run…..just because he likely wants a paycheck instead of EI. Recall how his Daddy screwed over Nova Scotia not too long ago? Oh how apples don’t fall far from the tree. Now some hairdresser? What are his plans? A free chicken with each hairdo? Or a makeover for Gloria? And now rumor some 19 year old Dal student wants to run for Mayor…..ha. You’ve got to be kidding. Does that student realize the job starts at 9am, which means he/she will need to wake up well before noon and that Council has a strict “no alcohol” policy. This should be an interesting election. Well General … I am a big fan of beer and I don’t stick to a particular brand, I like variety … so I would not restrict the offering to the beer of my choosing and again would provide variety. Folks like what they like and if I ain’t drinkin’ it, I don’t really give a rats ass what they choose (but I may shake my head and snicker to myself at their choices).
And as unfortunate as it is for any man I may become involved with … I’m not really into cooking … but bring on the meat. As for the dry rub vs. vingegar … I just like it to be tender enough to fall off the bone … and I think it’s best that I filter and refrain from further comment because what’s in my head isn’t related to cooking.

If I can be serious for a moment: Whatever happened to actually listening to a candidate’s platform instead of dismissing them out of hand? Also, it’s still really early in the year (no matter how much I wish it to be otherwise :(), so any number of candidates could come forward and/or drop out. We now return to our (ir)regularly scheduled silliness.
