Thank you Chairman (love your handle). Albeit to a lesser extent, the same thing happened in September-October 2000 when the bottom fell out of the dot com markets. The impact rippled through many “safe” investments – mutual funds and the like – and everybody went said “wtf”. Seemed the writing on the wall was pretty clear then, too.
