Here’s one for all you eco luvvies out there: Fireworks. All that crap going into the atmosphere, but that’s OK isn’t it, because you like looking at bright shiny things. I guess you have to have something to brighten your poor sorry lives. -Realist

The crap going in the air from fireworks is the same as that from burning fossil fuels. The difference is the scale, fireworks are small scale and on for a short time. Cars, trucks, energy-generating plants, airplanes, military vehicles are running in huge numbers all day long.
Pretty sure if you’re so concerned for the environment you should be directing your efforts at something other than fireworks.
I like fireworks. They make more sense than torching police cars at an environmental protest, that’s for certain.
