not everyone rides a bike in the winter beacause of hipster enviro whatever reasons. I commute on a bike everyday, because thats how I get to work. get used to sharing the road regardless of weather.

I personally think it shouldn’t be legal for bikes to be on the road in the winter months, and that includes any bike with a motor. In my opinion it just isn’t safe. I have no ill will towards bikers on the road but with the roads being slippery and icy, the huge snow piles than can make some small cars not visible and with the plows going around its just to much. Peddle bikes are the worst in my opinion and that’s because of the skinny tires that are NOT made to be used in snow. This person with their child being pulled behind them is lucky nothing bad happened. I had seem bikers going along and hitting an icy part, their bike goes out from under them.. talk about scary for the bike rider but also for the cars around cause any one of them could kill that biker if they fall into the road. How about bikers just suck it up and use metro transit in the winter months and if you want biking exercise, bike in a park that has been cleared of snow or a stationery bike.. not the road.
That is some crazy shit…
