And yet, along with hackeysack, juggling and i-phones, dubstep was a major weapon in the arsenal of Occupy NS as they united the 99% and shucked and jived their way to a better world.
Ok OP.
I believe chemically produced drugs are what make that sound acceptable to the ears.
Lolz OB, that’ what I think of Techno-pop.
Can someone post up a link to what they would consider a definitive example of dub-step? I keep hearing about it and I see chicks in clown suits with weird haircuts and big glasses but I still don’t know what the ‘sound’ is. Old man cranky thanks you in advance.
I don’t understand the validity of this bitch OP. If you don’t like it, why are you in situations that require you to listen to it? My guess is you’re under 20 and still defining yourself by your ability to convey your tastes about other peoples’ intellectual property to those of us who don’t really care.
Very “hot” right now … ‘Bangarag’ ft. Sirah OR ‘Equinox’ by Skrillex …
I think those may be the only 2 dubstep songs in top 100 … oh gosh I personally enjoy ‘Zombie (Subvert remix)’ – The Cranberries … but … that’s about as heavy as I’ll go, lol.
They’re danceable tracks but meh no fear, it is unlikely that this genre will become “big”.
… oh and please don’t look at those other foolish dressers as fashionable. Some stuff … I wonder what they were on …
It’s everywhere now. Fuck, the trailer to “G.I. Joe part 2” features a dubstep remix of the White Stripes’ “Seven Nation Army” (like we weren’t already sick of hearing the original version).
I agree with OP, this shit’s gotta stop.
Ok, cool, thanks! I thought this was pretty cool. But then I thought this was cool at one point…http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s5FyfQDO5g0
But before that…http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Q0tZ5fLVrU
and way before that http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPpUFBVSyWs
And who can forget http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=68C-r9kSLNE

Ok, TheBeatles is a stretch.
wub wuuub wub. That’s all i hear when i listen to it. I don’t like it at all. To me it does sound horrible. it’s not my taste but every now and then i will sit through and listen because my boyfriend likes it. If you don”t like it, the great thing about music is it’s easy to ignore. There is enough genres of music for you to be able to live your life without hearing it.
Ok, it’s official, I’m old. I guess even meth heads need something to relax to.
soe more stupid shit, from a world of and going further deeper into shit. what the hell is all this crap anyway? do we even care anymore? maybe may 24/12, can’t get here fast enough.
I like dubstep because all the stupid, ignorant, generally shitty old people have shifted all of their complaints about hip hop over to dubstep.

…and FS, we still hate hiphop. We may be old, but we can still multi-task.
>; )
At least you are consistent with your curmudgeonism. Even if you are a ‘wack sucka’
Word.
and by th way guys, i like deadmaus5. the light show is fucking fantastic.
Meh, sounds like a mix of 90s jungle, happy hardcore, and whatever style the Aphex Twin did. Wub wuuub wub.
Funny someone above mentioned this being good for meth heads – it features a lot in Breaking Bad.
Huh? If you tell me what you’re talking about, I’ll see what I can do?
If Dubstep isn’t for you and you still wanna feel “hip” (lolz) try Chillwave.
J.P.: “You didn’t knock Kane”
Kane: “I did, I just don’t think you heard it because the music’s so loud”
J.P.: Are you afraid of it?
Kane: No I just don’t like techno.
J.P.: You would if you had robot ears.
Kane: “ya, I guess”
Doing a google image search on wub wub makes me laugh. http://www.stickycomics.com/wp-content/upl…
MMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmm I love me some Kane.

The squid was kinda cool; the ambient noise should be piped into the accommodations at Gitmo, 24/7.

Dubstep seems to be some sort of hybrid between new age and techno. Sounds pretty good.
Loved the Optimus Primer bit, LOlz 😀
