Some Operation Shadow Project spray-can genius decided the park benches and rocks along the trail around the upper end of Lake Banook needed to carry “advertising” for things like shrooms, crank and special-K. While I’ve always preferred suds to buds I will say this – stick with the organics, folks – if you must. Chemical narcotics might be the wrecking crew of Social Darwinism but, like drunk drivers, the users manage to inflict more harm on society than they are worth before removing themselves from the gene pool. So blaze up and live longer.
So “tweak” is actually slang for some sort of drug and not some kid’s ill-contrived “gangsta” name? Suddenly all that graffiti makes much more sense.

There are lots of people out there who use drugs, not all of them are drug addicts. Small minded idiots think that all users are addicts. What if I said everyone who drinks alcohol is an alcoholic? I stick to the green myself, but wouldn’t consider myself a pothead. I don’t think the occasional dube would constitute that moniker. Still if you play with physically addictive chemicals, be forewarned, the distance between user and addict closes in quickly.

Some people believe that the government has the right and responsibility to regulate and control the distribution of food, alcohol, pharmaceuticals, snake oil, and even the garbage that people are trying to peddle on the street….but, of course, as soon as they take a particular liking to one of the drugs, then they start to cite all this vial crap about how it cant possibly be bad for consumption because ‘my friends know a friend that is a judge, and he does it all the time’

I noticed the same tag on a sticker on a traffic light pole at Robie and SG. It was so lame and 90s. And the other day I noticed, while walking down Queen, that some fucking rebel had tagged “adept” or “addict” or something on the sign of one of the little clothing shops there. Wow, what an artist. I am in awe. Don’t these guys have some kind of code they follow or something?

X-tal meth has been around (as a street drug) since the 60’s, nobody used it then because they had access to good acid.
When I was in grade seven I spray painted the word ‘Fuck’ on Gorsebrook jr. high. Just fuck. Nothing else. To my credit, I knew I was a douche about 5 seconds after. I can only hope these guys come to the same realization.
