Funny, you don’t have the name of your driving school on your little red Toyota Echo sedan, but you had the words “Driving School” clearly attached to both sides and the rear of the car. Even funnier, you drove all the way from Coburg and Oxford out to the Rotary with your phone held to your head. Probably a good thing for you that this industry isn’t regulated and you don’t keep the name of your company on the car, dumb ass. —What is wrong with people

  1. OUTRAGEOUS AND HYPOCRITICAL BEHAVIOUR!!

“Even funnier you drove all the way from Coburg and Oxford out to the Rotary with your phone held to your head.” What is wrong with people?

I find this person’s behaviour simply outrageous, not only because he drove from Coburg and Oxford to the Rotary with his phone held to his head but, in particular, because he had the words “Driving School” clearly attached to both sides and the rear of the car.

If you ask me this makes his behaviour not only outrageous but hypocritical as well. In other words, the words “Driving School” on the one hand and his behaviour on the other are mutually incompatible, one might even say self-contradictory! What is wrong with people indeed!

    A pleasure as always.

    Cheerio!

  2. Must be the same driver going around the roundabout backwards. Great example to teach new drivers.

I must say that I found your post, “Outrageous and Hypocritical Behaviour!!,” both original and informative. I liked the way you linked the concepts of the driver’s behaviour, on the one hand, and the signs on his car reading “Driving School” on the other which entailed a considerable measure of incompatibility and even self-contradiction.

However, I have given this bitch considerable thought and would like to offer my reflections. The first relates to confusion regarding the route the driver took. If he drove all the way from the corner of Coburg and Oxford out to the Rotary, how did he manage to do it unless – I’m not sure about this since it’s been a while – there is a left turn at the corner of Oxford and Quinpool. To continue straight up Oxford would land him on Bayers Road which does not, if memory serves, lead to the Rotary but rather to Bicentennial Drive. Of course, he might have taken a left at Chebucto but this is not specified in the bitch.

My second point relates to the possible reason why the driver held his phone to his head all this time. My thinking – it’s only a hypothesis of course – is that he thought the poster was following him all this distance and was attempting to contact the police. The question then arises as to why someone might be following him all this distance. Was it, perhaps, a hit man out to avenge a drug deal gone bad? A “settling of accounts,” as the expression goes?

My third point relates to the possibility questionable sexual activity in the car. The driver didn’t even notice the poster driving behind him because of the attention he was receiving from a passenger – possibly female – which distracted his attention. Did the poster notice any unusual movement? Perhaps a head bobbing up and down?

I hope that these reflections will help clear up the difficulties relating to this bitch.

    A pleasure as always.

    Cheerio!

  4. For the record, driving schools in NS are regulated. You must not assume that this individual was in any way legit.
Having the school name displayed is required by law and signs have to be approved by Access NS. Some relatives or friends of beginners will create their own signs to ward off the evil driving spirits…then commit the same driving sins that they purportedly shun. Next time, get a plate#, if you can, and report it to Access NS (RMV) or, look up Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa+ Driving School in the yellow pages.

Oh yeah, 20 years, 34 000 lessons on the road and 6500 hours in the classroom…only a few gray hairs to show for it! Regards from the Green Mile!
