There are several dispensers with pictures of drinks, small pictures only, but no direct views. Some of those drinks (the LIPTON ones) are actually in glass bottles. They did not seem to break though. I am wondering if it is actually safe to bump glass bottles against the bottom of the vending machine outlets.

I’m always nervous punching the button for the glass bottles too, but I assume there is some well-paid vending machine/bottle engineer out there calculating forces and designing gears and levers to ensure there is minimal breakage. I’d probably just add a foam bumper to the outlet. But I’m sure their way is good too.
