People who gossip have no lives, this is the only way they can entertain themselves by being a part of a real soap opera. It’s sad that they thrive on the misfortunes of others like vultures sharing a carcass. I have a friend who was speaking to the owner of her building, a married man, and the caretaker started a rumour about my friend having an affair with a man she only spoke to once about a mouse problem. Now the building (which my friend compares to a seniors complex) is chewing on this rumour and making her miserable. What a sick form of entertainment.
