Watch the drag race up Prince St., Brunswick St.-bound around 4:30 p.m. It’s fucking insane. Drivers cutting off other drivers, ignoring pedestrians who have the right of way and generally ready to knock off the side mirrors of the cars parked on either side. It’s certainly no comfort that many of these speed freaks are jawing on their goddamn celluar squawk boxes while roaring up the hill.
i am totally with you on this. it amazes me how many people will go into an intersection and idle there waiting to move through, then get stuck as the light turns red and the traffic ahead of them has not moved forward. thus blocking the cross traffic. fuck – i see it happen all the time. hey people – don’t you remember anything from drivers ed.? what amazes me more is that the cops just sit and watch that happen….it is against the law and they should ticket their stupid asses. and then maybe everyone will start (re)learning that they should not go into an intersection unless they can get out.
