I have to wonder if you even put that thing in the water since it always seems to be in front of your house, for weeks on end, blocking traffic and causing safety concerns since your house is at the start of an up hill curve and it’s hard to see cars travelling down the street sometimes. If it’s obstructing your view when pulling your car out into the street, simply ASk the owner to move it back. Otherwise, you have no right to complain. Get over yourself. If I wanted a boat, I would damn well feel perfectly within my right to park it in the driveway of MY house.
I wonder if the OP would think the boat and it’s owner were so “douchey” if they got invited out on it for a day of waterskiing in 30 degree sunshine.
I bet he’s angrier about his lack of backbone than he is the boat. I know I’d be angry at myself if I couldn’t so much as approach a neighbour to politely ask them to move their boat a few feet back and maybe limit the noise to certain times of the day.
