To the woman who crossed the parking lot in front of a Bedford Mall:
First of all, there were two crosswalks at either end of the intersection and yet you chose to walk across the center holding up cars in 3 directions no matter which way traffic was turning.
Actually, that brings me to my second point…the decision didn’t seem to be yours as you allowed your small child to slowly toddle across the street in whichever direction she chose.
PICK UP YOUR STUPID FUCKING KID!!!! She can barely walk, you had no bags, no stroller, no reason not to pick up the annoying little shit. You were crossing in front of traffic taking 2 minutes for a 5 second walk. I was the one who blew my horn at you when you stood in front of my car and watched as the kid bent over and pulled at her shoe.
Yeah, I made her cry and you gave me a dirty look. Luckily my horn served as a warning to the car who was turning left…directly into the lane that your child was now sitting in.
You almost had a flat little toddler pancake because you’re such a moron.
I get it, you held the little fucker for 9 months and thought you never had to again…wrong, stupid. Her safety is your responsibility and I doubt she’ll make it past the Huggies Pull-ups stage with a twat like you in charge. —Children? Speed Bumps? Who can tell these days?

She probably thinks it’s easier to get knocked up again and pop out another baby, than it is to care for the one she has and use a crosswalk.
thanks for your bitch. i’m in a shitty mode and this brought a smile to my face
While I don’t agree with how this woman and child crossed, I do have an issue with impatient fucks like yourself blowing the horn after 1.3 seconds – there are way too many arseholes behind the wheel who only think the whole fucking world should stop and accomodate them. That you couldn’t have an ounce of sympathy for the little child shows what a self-centred twat you are.
I don’t necessarily agree on how the woman and child crossed either, TTFN however, OP, at least she’s encouraging the little one to walk. I see WAY too many fat kids in strollers that have got to be pushing 5 year old!
Screw you walking folk, however little or big you are. This driver has SHIT TO DO and PLACES TO BE, and is way the hell more important than you or your kid learning to walk! I’d tell you to take a hike too, but….
PK there are places where very little ones should walk and shouldn’t walk by themselves, crossing traffic is one where they should not. Why the hell wasn’t mommy holding the kids’ hand. Until they are ready for school my kids and grandkids always hold my hand. It’s, oops almost was going to say common, rare sense.
I second this bitch. I hate it when parents put their annoying kids at the centre of the universe and are shocked when everyone else wants nothing to do with them.
here here!!!..Amen!!!…the honk was for the parent who was being a complete idiot..if you cant carry your young toddler across a busy Bedford intersection or even parking lot, or atleast hold the childs hand then you dont deserve that child…period..it only takes one driver not paying attention for a split second ..or that child to suddenly burst out in another direction and boom!!!…no more child…too many parents are waaaay to careless with their children and then all to eager to blame everyone else when something goes wrong…my GF father likes to say “well she’ll do it once and then she wont do it again. Thats how they learn.”…What!!??…fuuuuuck that…thats just what lazy parents say so they dont have to feel guilty when they fuck up and their child gets hurt ..and they could have prevented it…not everything in a childs life should be learned by personal experience…you might be able to get away with that excuse when they are older …but not a fucking infant or toddler …even a vigilant parent cant prevent every little boo boo but holy fuck one sure can prevent a serious one and certainly limit the others…she needs to see that video from boston i think where the mother turned her head for a split second and her stroller rolled in front of a subway car..it only took a second…catastrophe only takes a second and if you are not in a reasonable position to react or prevent then its your fault…that video is horrifying to a parent..bravo OP…she would have gottent more than a honk from me…and I think my kid is the center of the universe …most parents do…but to think that and also that their child is indestructable and impervious to harm is the real threat.
I, too, have a toddler. I, too, believe in self-teaching of trust, and perserverance. I, too, let go of my child’s hand when we are walking. Once we get into the mall!!!! It isn’t so much my child I don’t trust to let go of his hand! Its drivers on thier cell phones, or playing with thier stereos, or whatever else it is that distracts them from watching out for pedestrians! This lady is just stupid! If it is so important to let your child learn, perhaps first, she should let her child live! I’ll be the crazy looking parent who holds her kids hand, and says, “Hurry, run, a car is coming! We have to watch out for cars!” While I’m looking at the driver in the car like a deer in headlights! Those drivers always look at me puzzled, but I don’t trust you with my kid, I don’t even know you!
its not impatience of the driver that is the problem, it’s the common fucking sence of the mother. is she a raccoon? who the hell walks by the cross walk to let the kid doddle in the middle of the road. it’s not only the safety of the kid but you have just taught the kid that she can cross where she feels like it and you will be the first one to bitch on the coast, “people need to learn how to use cross walks!!” or more tragically, when she doesn’t knwo to use a dross walk and gets hit in the parking lot and killed, then it’s automatically the drivers fault that the parents aren’t watching their kid.
Yeah, and calling the baby “the little fucker” and “stupid fucking kid” makes you sound like the type who has rotting front teeth and wears a mesh baseball hat perched atop your head.
Oh I agree with you 100%, Bro Tim (whoa. lol). Up until recently, my mom, just from instinct/habit, would reach out for my hand when we crossed the street together…and I’m in my late 20s!
But, some parents are just dummies. There are things I see parents doing (or not doing), that even I, as a non parent, know they should/shouldn’t be doing. Like in the sun — put a fucking hat on your infant if you take the poor thing out in the sun. Or for that matter, put a hat on the kid if you take it out in the cold! You’d be surprised how many times I see people dragging infants around in the winter with no hats or mitts on them.
I know parents aren’t perfect, but c’mon!
I love this bitcher. I get that your kid is learning to walk and you want to encourage it but you don’t do that around intersections (parking lot OR city streets). Let them wander a bit in the mall if you want but letting your toddler wander in a parking lot is just fucking stupid.
And `Z`— I completely support calling kids little fuckers. Most of them are little fuckers. I don`t like kids, don`t want kids and don`t want to put up with shit from other peoples kids and my teeth are practically perfect and I have yet to sport trucker-hat-chic 🙂 If it were up to me my entire life would exist without ever coming with 1000 feet of anyone under 18 years old…but alas, I have to live with them and life will go on. When Disney World is designated a child free zone, though, I am so THERE!
i have certain rules: when walking, riding, driving do not make others responsible for your poor judgement. shoulder check, sidewalks are for walking, pick children up to get them off the crosswalk. i will refrain from ranting about the difference between merge/yield. pay attention leotards
