To who made the film ‘Blindness’ and the braindead organizers who opened this years’ Atlantic Film Festival with this piece of shit film, wake up! Women and men who love women do not want to see eight woman gang raped. Repeatedly. Would the filmmakers have shown such graphic rape if it was eight men getting violently fucked in the asses? I don’t think so. Where’s the love?

I had to wait until I saw this film before I could comment on your post. The rape in this film is hardly gratuitous, the filmmakers were definitely not using it as a dig against women in any way, but to show what power does to men. And the scene is shown in almost complete darkness. The sounds you hear and implied rape is definitely disturbing, but it most certainly follows what would happen in this society if any of this actually happened.This movie definitely has it’s flaws, and I’m not saying its perfect, but you can’t go saying that this scene is its biggest problem, or that the filmmakers are anti-women for it.
