A certain store is patting itself on the back for its great marketing scheme, Lets sell plastic bags and tell ourselves we are being enviro friendly. You are not being altruistic, you are being greedy.
When you encouraged folks to buy your decent reusable black bags and not use the plastic, that was good. When you pee on us and sell us a paper umbrella and act the hero, thats bad.
Also, when did it become ok to put a “packed on” date instead of a “baked on” date on baked goods? Is it because “thawed out after being baked, frozen, and shipped from Ontario date” too much to put on a label ?
p.s. thawing out donuts does not mean fresh baked, hockey player coffee shop.

I am sure the people who darken Tim hockey players establishment are connoisseurs of fresh baked pastry products and demand only the best.
I mean they set the bar so high with their delicious tasting coffee, it only stand to reason their doughnuts would also follow such rigorous standards.
Can we have one super bitch were someone grips about the plastic bag issue while at the store, gets on a metro bus with someone who is rude on their way home only to be broken up with by their girlfriend when they arrive home…and then somehow blames the whole thing on The Coast.

I think it’s a two way street, if they’re going to not hand out plastic bags for free, then you have to remember to bring bags….or suck it up. That’s how they want to run their business.

actually the hockey coffee place uses FROZEN products from ontario and freshly thraws,then bakes them…most restaurants in hrm use a delivered-to-the -store product too…sorry to disillusion you
