Who the fuck brings barking dogs to the Grand Parade on Remembrance Day? Would you bring your mutts to a funeral? Show some respect.

Keep them home

  1. Keep them home, in fact the dogs had every right to be at the ceremonies. If you aren’t up on your history thousands of dogs were used in WWI and WWII. Just google and you’ll see thousands of stories, photos, and as well memorials for these brave pooches.

  2. but I also forgot a large part…. if my dogs had been barking during the ceremonies.. I would have left and pronto. I agree Keep them home.. but if the dog was quiet I can’t see a problem..

  3. How is a quiet dog more disrespectful than some jerk on a cellphone? When my uncle died, his dog WAS at the funeral, sitting in the front row with the rest of his family. that’s what my uncle would have wanted.I’m getting married this spring and my chow is going to be the ring bearer.

  4. how is a barking dog being disrespectful to our dead and living veterans…not sure on that one. much the same arguement as whiny, crying, snot nosed kids should not be taken out in public. that too would be a little easier on the head…who wants a crying toddler spitting up all over itself while in line at the grocery store? because i dont doesnt mean that it shouldnt be allowed to happen.as long as the dogs not being agressive or threatening in their barking than, for fuck sakes have a litle patience.
