To the middle aged man who was walking his small dog, and carrying a purple ball-thrower in Africville dog park on Tuesday evening. Thanks for just watching as my girlfriend was attacked by the chained dog near the exit by the museum. You listened to her calls for help, as that dog was snarling and scratching, trying to get at her face. Did it look like it was just being friendly? But you just ignored her, and kept on walking. Thankfully she’s tough, and resourceful, and a fighter, and she got away. No thanks to you sir. ‚—Dumbfounded but Relieved.

sorry, bystander should have helped of course, but how could someone get ‘attacked’ by a chained dog? was it a dog just recently chained up in the middle of a gate? it couldn’t be the dogs that the trailer guy has – those dogs are waaaaaay away from where people walk or go for any reason.
I keep getting images of the giant dog from the move the sandlot, and that kid slowly saying “FOR-EV-ER!!!” It’s been so long i forget why he was saying it however…
The good Dawg’s gotta good point, why was this old guy no where near a vicious chained dog and your gf was? He probably walked on by thinkin “That’ll teach the dumb bitch” AAAAND If a fucking cat can figure out how far the end of a chain goes to torment a dog why can’t she? are cats smarter than your GF>!!>!!>!??????
How long was the mother-f’n chain? Sheesh, of course she got away as the dog was chained to something and she was not.
Strange scenario. So there was only your girlfriend and the stranger in the park, along with an unattended dog chained near the exit? If your girlfriend owned the dog, than it must be Hell living with it.
So because she put herself in a dangerous situation, a stranger is expected to do the same thing? There is a thin line between bravery and stupidity. Most people have no idea how to repel a vicious dog or bear or any other animal. Rational minded people do not get themselves into dangerous situations if it can be avoided. OB if there was someone with a weapon would you expect a stranger to get involved? This ain’t TV, it’s real life where in most cases the “hero” winds up hurt or dead.
My advice to your friend is DO NOT APPROACH STRANGE ANIMALS.
