Snowstorms put the entire city in gridlock, what else is new? The bus was way beyond capacity, with people practically standing on the steps to enter the bus. As a courtesy he stopped to let you know he was full, as you can plainly see. You had shelter to stand in and you resort to yelling profanities at the apologizing bus driver? Yes I understand it’s shitty to stand around an wait for another, but is it really that much better being packed in a steamy bus watching foot traffic exceed you on Barrington Street for an hour. Next time I hope the driver doesn’t stop to apologize, and when you think you’re having a shitty day in a snow storm, consider the bus drivers who have to listen to your shit all day, drive you home on slippery roads, and sit in bumper to bumper traffic. —Tolerant Transient

i think we have a two for the price of one bitch
this sounds like a rebttal of the bitch the other day. said it before, and will say it now, one more time. try driving a bus for a fucking day, and see if you don’t pull your hair, or someone eklse’s out after 8 or 10 hours.
Was this on the 10? The driver stopped on North street before crossing the bridge to apologize to those standing at the shelter and let them know there was another 10 about twenty cars back. I thought it was a very kind thing to do . Some drivers wouldn’t do that .
Anyone who’d get pissy over something that was beyond the driver’s control is definitely a douche. Bus drivers can’t win- if they’re cranky they get grief, if they’re nice, they still get grief.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: despite a few douchebags here and there, MT drivers, overall, are pretty friendly in comparison to other cities. You definitely wouldn’t see a TTC or OC Transpo driver stop to let you know the bus was full. They’d just drive the fuck by you. I know this because it was a regular fucking occurrence for me to have two drive past all full during rush hour. Only solace was the fact that another was only 5 minutes behind it.
But really, it’s not the drivers’ fault the bus is full and they can’t take on any more. These people yelling profanities at the driver would likely be the first to sue HRM if there was an accident and they got injured because the bus was over capacity. Fucktards.
The weather reports come out warning people of road condition, and like during the previous storm, most people will leave work early (or their employers let them leave early due to weather conditions) so that they can drive home safely. I left my office at 2pm on Wed in my suv (winter tires of course) and the commute was already backing up but no “bumper to bumper” traffic. I suggest the Dockyard Douchebag catch an earlier bus.
What the fuck?
My post saying that we all get it that sebigtard drives an SUV was deleted? Fucking crybabies. This politically correct shit is getting out of hand. It was probably sebastian or the Mod who got the Dire Straights song edited too.
