After all the different serving jobs my friends and I have worked, I’ve come to the conclusion that every restaurant owner in Halifax is a raging asshole. If you’re reading this and you think you’re the exception to the rule, you probably aren’t. —woeful waitress

A good boss is hard to find in the carpentry trade too. I find a lot of them act like they’re doing you the biggest favor of all time by allowing you to work for them. The program is, employers don’t really understand that they need good talent, until all the talent is out west. That’s when they cry. I was in Alberta during a boom in the 2000’s, employers actually treated me like I was worth something. It was weird.
hmm, statistically, tis far more likely that you’re the problem, not every boss in HFX.
Hmmm am I possibly detecting a special snowflake who doesn’t like having their feeling hurt by being told to show up and do their job?
I thought being a gaping narcissist was a prerequisite to owning a restaurant. Even when they go out west for a year until it all blows over.
The best ones are the ones fucking the waitstaff. They’re always happy.
