9:35 showing of the movie and you couldn’t just shut the fuck up. Every fucking thing that happened you had some sort of loud response to that you felt everyone in the theater should be aware of.

“Oh he’s eating catfood! HAR HAR HAR GROSS, isn’t that gross? HARDY HAR FUCKIN HAR!!!”

“Inter species prostitution! GASP! EEEWWW”

“BABY ALIENS! AWWWWWWW, isn’t it cute!? AWWWWW!!!”

SHUT THE FUCK UP! I didn’t pay twenty bucks to listen to your inane blather pointing out shit that everyone is already aware of.

“OMG they’re gonna cut his arm off! OMG GROSS, AUGH SICK!”

I hope your arm gets cut off by an alien baby armed a jagged edged cat food tin while you get sodomized over and over by an inter species prostitute. I’ll just sit there loudly narrating the whole thing back to you, “OMG I THINK HE’S GOING TO CUT YOUR ARM OFF! YEAH HE’S DEFINITELY GONNA CUT IT OFF! LOOK AT HOW SHARP THAT IS! HEY! HEY!! THAT CAT FOOD TIN IS REALLY SHARP! JUST THOUGHT YOU SHOULD KNOW! IS HE STILL CUTE!? OH! GOD DAMN! YOU’LL BE LIMPING TOMORROW!!! TRY TO RELAX YOUR SPHINCTER!!!”

  1. Easy solution: Throw nachos. In a crowded theater, they’d never know who it was.

Much love for District 9. Red power!

  2. Ah how I pine for the old days…if an usher heard you, your ass would be gone…If I heard you, I would whisper some sage “advice” in your ear, and odds are you would heed that “advice”…assuming a dozen people did not beat me to it. Morons.

  3. Nice. And she’s right! People who go to the movie and talk and act like idiots are disrespectful assholes.

  4. Thanks. Wow, watched the trailer, that looks cool. I like alien-sci-fi-monster movies. Good thing I didn’t read the bitch too closely 😛

  5. hate the bullshit at theatres, then do what i do. wait til it comes out on either limewire, or stagevu, download free, then sit back and relax in your own time and home. fuck the noise, traffic, and morons that contribute to those things. am i cheap, nah, just a realist that hates the bullshit too. learn from us, you might like the ideas.

  6. and i might add, while the quality is not perfect, i get to see these movies over 2 weeks before you do, and again, don’t have the hassle of fucking with idiots going to or coming from.

  7. While I hate the talkers, etc at the theatres too, I love going to movie theatres. Watching a pirated movie on my computer screen or TV just doesn’t compare to the big screen. Plus it gives me the feeling that I’m out of the house doing something 🙂

  8. The best way to avoid the bullshit is to not go on opening weekend for an evening showing. I usually wait 2 weeks or hit the theater in the afternoon or early weekday evening. The number of bad movie experiences has dramatically dropped off.
Pirated movies are crap. You get what you pay for.

  9. LS – how are you a “realist”? All you seem to do is call people “morons” and rant.

    That’s hardly practical.

  10. Maybe when we are as old and wise as Life Sucks we will understand too Fat. Maybe. The man clearly has it all figured out.

  11. Life Sucks, I hope someday I’m famous enough that you’ll download my movies. I’d take it as a compliment! Let the studios worry about legalities.

  12. i’m a tief am i, anyone ever listen to their ipods or whatever, did you pay for that music. maybe, maybe not, if they didn’t have things like the internet peer to peer downloading, most of these so called artists would probly starve after the first few weeks of sales of saidmusic. yes i download because i can, and want to.once something goes to free domain, anyone can therefore download and save or watch and delete. if it is good,i will save on disk for another viewing later. i do not sell anything i download,as a lot of people will do, it is for my enjoyment only. and i say to you all here and now, if you have never once,no matter how small, have never did a dishonest thing, well your halo is waiting for you to pick up.at least i admit to my downloads.

  13. Same here Miles, no matter how much I want to see a film, I never go opening weekend, too many people overall. I prefer not to have to sit directly next to strangers. Matinees the following week are nice, or just wait a bit longer.
