For the person who is forcing their dog to urinate and defecate on their balcony which is made of spaced wood planks and is directly above their neighbour’s….you thoroughly disgust me.
I was out on my friend’s balcony which is directly across the street from your apartment having a beer when I see your patio door open up and your dog (hanging his/her head low) emerge. Being a dog lover and owner myself I watched him thinking he might be coming out to lay in the sun…boy was I wrong. Apparently this is where your poor pooch is supposed to do his/her business. My friends and I watched in utter shock and number’s 1 and 2 rained and hailed down on the balcony below yours which yes sadly housed not only patio furniture but a BBQ. Cruel and disgusting. From the looks of his/her face the dog knew it was wrong. So should you!! How lazy, disrespectful and cruel are you…this is wrong on so many levels.

  1. Yeah if I were you I’d call the building super regardless if I lived in the apartment building.

  2. 1. Take a picture. (If you don’t witness it again soon, draw it.)

    2. Print it.

    3. Slide it under the downstairs person’s door…maybe with a note reading ‘Sucker!’ or ‘It’s not the birds.”.

    4. Enjoy the fireworks.

  3. Isn’t animal control the people you call when a wild or out of control animal is a danger to someone? I’m not sure it applies in this situation, Jane D’oh.

  4. What lazy bastards! They can’t even bother to get off their asses and take their dog for a walk?! It’s too bad that dog is stuck with such selfish, irresponsible owners.
OP, you should definitely talk to the super of that building. You could even supply a picture or two to prove you’re not just a psycho! Maybe then the assholes will be forced to take their dog outside where it deserves to go.

  5. Lazy, disrespectful, cruel and just plain wrong, for sure.

But there is a terrible part of me that laughed a whole lot when I read that….

  6. Maybe the people who occupy the floor below deserved it. Perhaps they ride the elevator up just one floor, or they’re rude bus drivers that ride bicycles in their spare time. They could even be pregnant vegans who demand seats on the bus and special treatment in restaurants.

I’m just saying, a rain of poop could be totally warranted…..

  7. Almost sounds like to me that maybe their not allowed pets there and they can’t take him out for fear of being caught with him. They should be reported, thats just disgusting

  8. SometimesIWonder, stay away from balconies today… that’s quite a leap. What, exactly, is there to report? Animal cruelty? You’ll lose. The neighbor below, however, could invite police to look at the damage done to his private property and, from a bylaw standpoint, you’re not allowed to let your dog do it on other people’s property but it’s just a fine.

  9. I love No Dogma’s suggestion on this one. I’d recommend filming the ensuing fight between the neighbours though.

    lol @ meow

  10. Can we have this bitch linked to all the “why won’t landlords let me have a dog” bitches.

  11. Haha! I understand Jane D’oh. If anything, it’s funny.

“OMFG! That dog’s taking a shit!!!”

    “Quick! Call animal control stat!”

    *pew pew pew*

    “Crisis averted. Good work men.”

  12. Those wooden slats must be spaced very wide to have dog shit rain. Most dogs I know have big ones that wouldn’t fit through a proper spaced balcony floor.
Maybe the dog was in heat and couldn’t go around other dogs.
Thank goodness I have a roof under mine because my dog loves the balcony.

  13. For the love of pets who have jackasses for owners CALL THE SPCA AND ANIMAL CONTROL ASAP. I can’t believe you took the time to write this out and did not report at the end of your bitch that you called authorities. Being a witness and doing nothing about it is almost as bad as being the asshole dog owner.

  14. Is it better or worse that my upstairs neighbour (not their pet!) pisses off the balcony above mine?

This is terrible, a trained dog KNOWS that that’s not where he’s supposed to go. Poor thing, he should be frolicking in the park! Do you think it’s laziness or that they hate their downstairs neighbour?
