To the group of teenage punks at Shubie Park tonight throwing rocks at the ducks, I think you need to find a new past time and if it wasn’t against the law, I would have thrown rocks right back at you.

To the one single girl in the group who looked at me like I had 3 heads when I called out your friends for throwing the rocks, you’re beautiful and smart (possibly) why are you hanging out with these guys? As a fellow female and all around animal lover, I honestly felt bad for you. Not like I felt bad for the ducks though.

I feel crazy for even thinking this, but I hope you all walked away from that situation thinking, why the heck did we do that? More than likely not though. —100% Against Animal Cruelty

  1. I share your fury, but why on earth would you assume that a teenage girl would have any more empathy, compassion, humanity or basic intelligence than the doped out fuckboys she’s hanging around with?

  2. The cops are just up the street usually on Kennedy Drive…a quick drive for them to Shubie. Why just report the stupid fucks?

  3. I wish someone would get their shorts in a knot about all the people who are abused daily like they do over a couple of ducks.

  4. Pretty and “probably” smart?
Who fucking cares. If she was fat and looked like she failed math it would be much more understandable, right?

She was there because she was there, and girls are just as fucked up as boys. I think that’s a quote from Rina Virk.

  5. I hope you said something to them. I don’t ever interfere with what people normally do or say, but when they are being needlessly cruel, you have to speak up. I told a kid once that I knew his Mom and scared the shit out of him. I had no idea who he was but he thought I did.

  6. For once I agree with sebastian. I would have reported the little bastards but the lazy HRPD cops would probably do nothing.

  7. I wouldn’t get used to it, pg. NGF has a soft spot in his big donair heart for animals actually. And how’d you get that picture of sebastian’s nails? 😛

  8. Nice. I saw one of these guys on the Darkside waterfront in the morning:

And we watched the bike ride with a couple of very cool British tourists, who took in the whole thing with typical British unflappability. The wife also suggested that the husband unravel a ball of string when he went upstairs so she could find him. I told her that a trail of bread crumbs would suffice.

  9. ooh i love basenjis they’re like little cats. my parental units saw the ride, dad was happy not to be driving the car^^
