Dalhouse should get rid of them gentlemen . The world does not need any more strip mall dentists, maxing out dental plans and ripping you off. They can get a real job like at a muffler & brake shop or selling used cars —ripped off for thousands

What about lady-dentists? Do we keep them? What will they do instead?
“I got ripped off so these guys who had nothing to do with it should be expelled.” Sound logic.
Please stop trying to keep the Dal Dentistry non-story alive. We’ve heard far more than enough about it.
FAILURES IN COHERENT THOUGHT
1. Why are dentists “quacks?” A quack is a pretender to a skill he does not possess. No evidence has been given to demonstrate that dentists are quacks.
2. There is no connection between the place where one happens to work and the degree of honesty one practices in that work. Would the dentist become more honest if he moved outside the mall?
A pleasure as always,
Cheerio!
Perhaps OB should should move to Britain, a fine nation that excels in many things, but not, alas, the Dental Arts and Sciences.
I’ve had five dentists over the years. Three retired and I dumped one previous dentist. My current dentist, and all except the one I dumped, were excellent as far as I am concerned. I didn’t quite trust the one I dumped so I moved on.
My current dentist is an awesome guy. He has done very little work on my teeth which tells me he is not just trying to churn money out of my insurance. He always takes the time to explain everything in as much detail as I want. I find him very credible and trustworthy.
It sounds like the OB needs to find a new dentist rather than disparaging an entire profession.
…and maybe the OB could tell us what they do for a living and we could rip their profession apart.
Dentists cannot max out your plan. They submit an invoice to your provider using NS dental codes and you can verify this by entering the code numbers online to see the cost. Now, your mouth may have looked like a rat-infested sewer and additional work was required which exceeded the plan coverage. Regular maintenance on one’s teeth is essential and preventative. The dentist is not a magician and not able to undo years of neglect within the scope of some sorry ass plans.
It appalls me to no end to see the chompers of some people. Yellow/brownish is not a shade of white. I have heard people say their teeth are in bad shape because they did not visit a dentist as a child. WTF? Even if one were not covered by a group plan from the workplace, one can get coverage using a personal plan. Of course this costs money but it is worth it for your overall heath. FFS, visit regularly and quit complaining.
People take their car in for regular check-up and maintenance but never take their own body into a healthcare practitioner when things are amiss. Your body is supposed to last a lifetime.
It doesn’t cost that much to BRUSH and FLOSS regularly, either.
All dentists are quacks because of Dalhousie’s handling of the Dental School scandal? Doesn’t even merit a reply even though I did.
OB is a raving anti-dentite!

this is probably same op who complained about the cleaning on his/her groddy teeth couple weeks ago
