Please tell me what makes all of you women out there when told by a girlfriend, any friend, or even the ‘other woman’ that your supposedly wonderful man is CHEATING ON YOU; even when given proof, convince yourself to STAY WITH HIM & BLAME WHOEVER IT IS THAT TOLD YOU??

Do you like punishment? Emotional abuse? Living with lies?

It’s one thing to not care if your man is inside another woman while you’re home cooking a romantic dinner for his dirty ass, it’s a whole other issue though when YOU CLEARLY DO! Why do you stay? Why do you kick your best girlfriend in the stomach & say “she must be lying” or “SHE seduced him” or believe the worst generic scenario ever: him telling you you’re crazy??

Am I the crazy one?? Is honesty perhaps NOT the best policy anymore?? —Honest girl

  1. hahahaha…good one brotim
some women are simply pathetic (not to say that some men aren’t as well)…unfortunately I know all too well about this…my ex found out and contacted the other’s gf…told her about the 2 year affair..amoung at least 2-3 other flings…what did she do? thats right, she stayed by his side..some people lack the self worth and courage (her and him) to face life as independent people. I’m not sure what life skills department failed them into accepting being decieved and walked over, but just be happy that you don’t fall into that category! I know I am soo happy to know that my life is honest and my own.

  2. some people are born to be losers in life. obviously this person, is one fine example.o.p., you can only do so much, or even say so much. maybe she is just hlding it back, til she can take him to the proverbial cleaners. could you really blame her, for making sure he finally got a good fuck up. tell her come see old life sucks, i will fix whatever ails her.

  3. These women aren’t stupid and know that their man is cheating on them, the just lack the self confidence and self respect to do anything about it so instead, deny deny deny. That is why when you my friend, told your friend and gave her proof, that she became angry with you, because you made it very hard for her to deny it.

Best thing for you to do is to step out of this girls life, if she is treating the people who treat her like shit better then the ones that actually care about her, there is nothing you can to about it and you’re only going to cause yourself grief by trying to change the situation.

  4. Yup, true that cranky, I was only the messenger once, and it was for a super close friend.

And even then all I did was say: “hey man, I just wanted to let you know, I’m not sure of the truth behind it or anything, and you can do what you want with the information but…”

I did not go: “Dude, you need to break up with that asshole your dating, I don’t know what the fuck you see in him, and he is totally fucking someone else”.

It’s all in the approach my friend.

  5. I think 1fallingangels1 has a very good point. That’s being a good friend and being helpful.

  6. It’s a serious lack of self-respect. And not ALL women suffer from this. I know plenty to kicked the man’s ass to the curb.

I also know quite a few of the other women who chased tje guy’s ass so hard, begging him to stay, telling him that she couldn’t stand to never see him again, and she took him back, no matter what he did to her. All you can do is shake your head at these chics. They’re gonna suffer…

  7. My wife lost her best friend over this exact same thing. The guy is clearly a douchebag, but she keeps insisting on “changing” the guy, and insisting on having a child with him to make him responsible.

We keep telling her that you can’t change a guy who is 32 years old and relates more to WoW than to the real world…

  8. Falling angels is right. I’ve found that all you can be is supportive and ‘there’. The last thing I will do is make peoples choices for them. Man, I wish there was a The Coast online 20 years ago. Bah, would have ignored it anyway. Watched Atom Egoyan’s Exotica the other night, wow, what a difference 15 years plus of life can make on how you relate to a film.

  9. Why do some women stay in failed relationships? I’m not talking about abusive relationships here, but I think its probably along the same lines that a guy would agree to ‘stick it out’ even though whatever love he has for his spouse has long since diminished to nothing: they fear the unknown, they want to stop the hurt even if it means a life of not moving on, they don’t want to disappoint their friends/parents/colleagues. Its a big mess of emotions and something I would never wish on anyone.

  10. Not yet. Going to the show this afternoon. I really just came to the realization that I want tats very recently and want to meet various local artists and bounce some ideas around before going for it. But knowing me, I’ll probably walk out with something somewhere, just to get the ball rolling.

  11. get some crows…rawk, it looks pretty busy from here. i might go sunday while the boys are fishing

  12. I came into to work on Monday morning to an email from a girl that my guy had screwed while I was away visiting my Nanna and buying him things… I got partway through the first paragraph, printed off two copies, one for my boss & one for me to continue to read on my raging drive home. I woke him with a sucker punch and then called every female in his cell phone and found another girl he had been with that same weekend. fucker. BUT – after a while he convinced me that he’d changed blah blah blah… he was very manipulative. Took him back for a few months and caught him again, he’s probably still wearing my footprint on his ass. From what I’ve heard he’s cheated on every girl he’s ever been with, why the hell do people like that even get in relationships?

  13. I’ve been trying to figure this one out for years. I had an ex like that – Mr. Studly went on to marry and divorce three times because he couldn’t keep it in his pants and now he’s lining up Wife #4. Mind you, he’s a multimillionaire and, despite tipping the scales at 350 pounds, can still reel them in (natch, it’s the money since he now looks like a gnarly ol’ bulldog who had his face whomped several hundred times with a shovel) – as long as there are women with low self-esteem, thatch-snatchers like my ex will continue to thrive. No matter how much alimony this dumb bozo pays out, he still continues to run around like a humpy happy hound. Go fucking figure.

  14. The messenger ALWAYS gets shot and it’s hard facing the truth when it means giving up a sense of security metaphorically and/or literately. Surprisingly, it isn’t an uplifting feeling you get when you learn you may have just wasted X amounts of years of your life.

  15. sending sad rawks your way sugar…sorry just reading ‘tween’ the lines

  16. I just thank fuck that this post-menopausal stage has made me think of sex as burdensome as squeezing ass zits – ah, the freedom of never ever caring if you see another hard-on again. Sorry, folks, I love the empowerment – never underestimate the fun of growing old. Sorry. LS, not even you at full mast.

  17. TTFN: (Tepid-Twat-Forgoes-Nookie) How far post-menopausal does it usually take to reach the point where nookie is not a driving force? I’m still interested in the occaisonal horizontal bop. There’s also a lot to be said for the freedom from PMS and all the monthly madness that goes with it.

  18. “Surprisingly, it isn’t an uplifting feeling you get when you learn you may have just wasted X amounts of years of your life.”

    yep.

  19. Interesting 1fallingangels1. I don’t think I can ever mind my own business and watch a friend get destroyed tho Rek, it’d be pretty terrible if she found out 5 years later that I knew all along…better to be honest.
