You’re not going to refund me the $40 charge that my bank threw at me for going into overdraft. I made my payment on the 11th of the month, but for some reason you took out the payment again on the last day of the month. It’s your fault, and yet I’m still going to pay $40 because you fucked up. Go fuck yourself. —Poor Student

  1. Save your energy, OP — you ain’t gettin’ that money back so just chalk it up to another one of those injustices brought upon by the “man.”

  2. o.p., you are lucky to get a loan. some people have been turned down flat, and a piss poor reason given.i tried to get one years ago, but they said that i was over the limit for funds. so i had to do dal on my own. and i just said fuck you, and got what i went after, no help from anyone. do i feel better for it, yep. if you want it, you will get it, no matter what, not the cash, but the degree.

  3. OP, you need to talk to your bank. Tell them that it was an unauthorized debit. You might need to fill out some paperwork but you should get your $40 back.

  4. Good luck getting it back from both sides actually. Getting it back from your bank is a frustrating affair, meanwhile the Student Loans folks don’t even know what they’re talking about half the time.

As an aside, a $40 overdraft fee? You need to think about switching banks, if that’s the case. Unless you’re talking about an NSF fee, then sadly, that’s standard.

  5. Are you fucking serious? You are blaming someone else because you can’t keep track of your own money?
Seriously If you have 1000.00 in the bank on the 11th, and you make a $400.00 payment,,,that means you only have $600.00 left. If the balance is still $1000.00 7 days later, it doesn’t mean that the fucking free money fairy came and boosted your fortunes. It means that the money hasn’t cleared yet and you still only have $600.00.

Take responsibility for your own affairs fucktard.
