The latest poll from Nanos shows support for the Conservatives slipping 2.5% points to 39.8% and the Liberals gaining 1.8% to 30.2%.
The momentum seems to be shifting although still too early to tell.
If things don’t change much more I predict another Conservative minority government.

urggh.. I can’t understand anyone wanting to have Harper’s babies. The guy is a total creeper. He probably has cold clammy hands and likes to pick the pills off his stupid sweaters.

Harper’s idea of democracy is a danger to us all. Who ejects and denies people access to political rallies? What happened to democratic freedom in this country? Unless you’re a card-carrying Harper Butt-Kisser don’t expect to be able to exercise your constitutional right to democratic freedom by attending a Harper rally. Harper then has the arrogant audacity to say, in response to various people being ejected or denied entry, that how his security forces operate at his political rallies is not his concern. His disrespect to the veterans (or their widows) who have put their lives on the line for this country is well-documented. “Anyone But Harper” is a great political slogan, one that conscientious Canadians who value democracy should heed.
For disrespect to veterans, you have to go all the way back to WWI. Both my grandfathers went overseas. After the war one of them got a new pair of shoes once a year for trench foot. He never lived long enough to get a pension. The other received a pension at 65 and my mother was embarrassed when she cashed it for him, it was so piddly. It never got better. Remember the Balkans and the beginning of Afghanistan, when a service member and the death benefit wouldn’t cover the cost of a funeral. It’s slowly getting better but the is a long ways to go after nearly a hundred years of neglect. The one thing that pisses me off is when a retired member dies, their spouse only receives half of the retired members’ pension but if the spouse dies first the member continues to receive a full pension. So both parties (more Liberal than Tory as they had more years in power) are gulity of this neglect.
Agreed Bro Tim. Veterans/surviving spouses have always a rotten deal. Harper had his chance to change this and did nothing. This is just one of many instances where he disrespects the nation he serves.
