I came from the west coast to the east coast and have now (temporarily) returned west for the winter, but damn, do I ever miss Halifax right now. I miss it all, bus drivers, cheap pints, easy livin’, the beautiful north end, my radical roommates, especially Gus’ sleazy pub.
I will be back to make Halifax my home!

Halifax beats the shit out of boring, sterile, vacous Vancouver and Victoria any day! Ohh la la you have some pretty mountains to look at – that’s about the only thing to do there. Despite some stereotypes, I found that people out west really weren’t that friendly or outgoing, either. And so many God damn homeless people and junkies!

Halifax has nothing on Vancouver and even Victoria nowadays! Ever walked down Hastings Street? Fucking G H E T T O ! Downtown Victoria’s getting pretty sketchy too.
