Has anyone been to high school lately? What the fuck is up with these girls? Nobody fucking cares how often you drink on weekends or how many random guys you hooked up with…
Are there no chill girls who can actually have an intelligent conversation for once? It sickens me that boys are attracted to these fake girls who only care about how much money and how many touchdowns their boyfriends are getting.—Best time of my life?

High school is definitely NOT the best time of your life. But it will be over soon and everything gets better from there.
sometimes i wish i was young enough to go to school now, man the pussy i could score, with a tiny bit of weed, or a pill. don’t fucking knock it fool.
Guys will always be attracted to girls who want to ‘hook up’. Most guys are only looking to ‘score’ as LS so eloquently stated above. Only a small percentage of people (high school and beyond) possess the intelligence you crave so keep looking and don’t settle for anything less. That is the intelligent thing to do. When you do find that girl the wait will be worth it. There actually are girls who are looking for intelligent guys like you who aren’t just looking to score.
Everything gets better after high school? I disagree.
I used to laugh at the jocks & the girls they attracted in High School. Why would you care ? I personally didn’t mind school but life ,for me, became a lot more fun after school. I went to sea, I seen most of the Atlantic Coast up into the Arctic, spent time on the Beaufort Sea (nice place to visit…wouldn’t want to live there) Sailed on all the Great Lakes. Quit sailing lived in Quebec City, lived in TO , spent a year in Montreal, came back to Halifax, & have traveled to most of the Caribbean countries, the States all through Canada…yeah, life’s been better since high school & LIFES BEEN GREAT SINCE MY DIVORCE…
Do you know why divorces are so costly ?
I don’t ,But I do know… They are worth every single cent ~:)
O.P. – not to worry. It will be over soon enough, and if you want it to, life does get better after high school. Find your friends, stick with them, keep your head down, and if you have to, use a dating website. The shallow ones are usually pretty easy to spot.
Best of luck,

See the beauty in quiet girls. Pay attention and they will open up.
It’s not considered good to be a female nerd in high school, but after school, they come out and talk to you. The trick is simply to be patient.
Lately? Ha! This is how HS has always been and probably always will be.
Pretty much the same for the first couple years of uni too (except the drinking is legal).
High school sucks ass for almost everyone except those who “peak” in HS — the jocks, ‘popular’ girls, etc…
Life might not suck any less after HS for some, but I know my life has gotten a whole lot better in the 10 years since I left. *shrug*
I agree with PK on this one. I’m only out of high school twelve years and it was like that back then. My sister (twenty years out) says it was the same for her.
I love going home and seeing all the jocks and popular girls now. A fair number of the girls were knocked up before graduation and the boys are just fat. Poetic justice.
I still look back fondly at my time in high school but, things only got better afterwards.
They won’t let me around the high schools anymore…
yeah, I skipped over the 10 year reunion… didn’t really want to see any of them.. and the couple I wouldn’t mind seeing I still see from time to time anyways.
No need to make a spectacle of it.
HS sucked but you also shouldn’t wish your life away either.
and More, a lot of your posts are really making sense to me lately.
Divorce blows but there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
yeesh zZz are you okay? i went to 3 highschools in 3 provinces…then i just ran away and never looked back
I’m with girl of pain — you ok, zZz?
Thankfully, there were generally no issues of bullying at my high school, and I can’t say at the time I thought my life sucked, it’s just that since then I’ve grown and become a lot more confident and the shit that bothered me back then would probably make me laugh my ass off now. I guess years of therapy will do that to a person. heh.
I think what i”m trying to get at here is, once you leave HS you grow and experience things, and what once seemed like the end of the world seems silly now. For me it was gaining some self confidence and chilling the fuck out (maaaaaaaaannnnnnn I was uptight in HS — likely due TO my lack of self confidence).
My 10 year reunion is this summer, and I doubt I’ll make the trek to the valley to bother going. I’m with zZz – I have no desire to see any of them, really; the ones I do care about seeing I already do see here or there (and keep in contact with), so meh.
Just ride your time out, OP and look forward to your life after HS. There’s definite constraints as to whom you are exposed to when you are in HS because it’s determined on geography…once you leave and if you go to university, you’ll be exposed to people from all over (even all over the world), and you’ll find a lot of like minded people. I know the bulk of my friends are people from all parts of Canada and even all parts of the world. We have lots in common besides just geography, which is really the main basis of things in common with your classmates in HS.
I’m alright… why I’ve been absent lately and not quite as opinionated…
just focusing on getting my shit together.
Was looking pretty bleak there for a while but plenty of support goes a long way.
getting a motorcycle -step dad’s building it as I type, hardcore biker guy- and really looking forward to exploring more…. both within and without….
I knew I’d be back though… just needed the time.
lucky I wasn’t posting during that firefighter shit fest….
dodged a bullet there.
They are fucking teenagers, that’s what they do, and what they talk about.. ipods exist for this exact reason
It was the same thing when I was in high school, I graduated in ’02. Where are those girls now? Workin at timmies or in a call centre. How about the guys? Tried to get into university to play football, but they were such bad students it didn’t last long. Most of them work construction or something. Listen: just revel in the fact that you know that drinking and hooking up with as many people as you can isn’t going to get you anywhere in life. Find some friends who think along the same lines (there are some, I assure you), high school doesn’t last forever and you’ll really make something out of yourself in the near future. Just hang in there, it’ll be over before you know it.
Geez. It’s sad that we live in a world where people actually give a rats behind what high schoolers value.
as someone on here once said,”today’s teenage girl, tomorrow’s welfare mother”.
it’s the tunnel vision of HS.
it’s like a microcosm and only whatever happens there is what’s important.
they don’t know what it is to be out in the real world, dealing with the day to day…
the freedom to really go wherever or do whatever you want…
only getting out of life what you put in.
no-one forcing you to write a test or get that next B+
once the world opens up to them, then they’ll get over HS and start to grow.
I TRY to talk to high school girls about these things but I always end up getting chased off school property. Sometimes by the cops themselves. That’s why I prefer to meet them in bars now. Damn wouldn’t it suck if the Toothy Moose ever closed. Where would I meet them then, the library?????
