CSI is a pathetic, sick attempt at entertainment. That it has been cloned so many times reflects the lack of originality Holywood writers have – they find a formula and beat it to fucking death. Other drama shows just continue to carry that tired old premise: ‘America saves the (fill in the blank)’ to a nauseating degree.
How about if the American Idol judges were tortured and pulled out of a dumpster. I could be persuaded to watch that.

Nice – You do make a valid point. However please realize the issue I was trying to raise was not my delicate sensibilities being offended by the networks, but rather the propagation of violence against women in mainstream media and how it tends to go over looked. If I were genuinely offended by what I saw on TV I would simply turn it off.PS – I do read……The Coast!
Violence sucks no matter what way you slice it, whether it’s done to a male, female or animal. Adding body parts to the mix is nauseating. However, it ain’t gonna stop as long as you have viewers drooling for this total garbage.
I think the violence depicted on tv is a little heavier with women victims, and this makes me sick in the head sometimes,and I only have three channels…so I turn to channel 3, that’s CBC, and there’s usually something interesting on and I’m glad I did. Also, if it’s a show that promotes healty socital subjects, than I feel like I’ve contributed somehow.
Let’s not forget we’re talking about the ol’ U.S. of A., the most dysfunctional nation on earth. If I had to depend on American television for entertainment, I’d throw the fucking thing in the harbour.
