Following the details on the strike with Metro Transit is pissing me off.

One union member complained about long hours resulting in high divorce rates. Then hearing about them wanting more money. WTF!!!

Thousands depend on transit and now many are stuck walking or looking for rides to get to needed places. Cabs will be making lots of money from the people who can afford it.

By the sounds of it the union is willing to screw plenty over just to get what they want. Well fuck off union and settle for a deal so people can get back to their lives again. —Metro Transiter User

  1. With every strike, Unions demonstrate just how inconsequential and out of date they really are. They will be clinging to their Culture of Entitlement long after the last slug has been replaced by someone who actually wants a job. Forget them.

  2. DIVORCE RATE PLEASE I HAVE A FRIEND MARRIED 20 YEARS TO A DRIVER DID HIS HOURS CAUSE A DIVORCE HELL NO A MEMBER OF THE INSIDE SCREWING A SEX-UR-TURY AND ANOTHER 30 YEARS SCREWING A PASSENGER AGE 20 HIM IN HIS FIFTIES PLEASE JUST A BUNCH OR WMASTERS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HOURS WORKED SUCK IT UP BUS DRIVERS I HOPE YOUR OUT A LONG TIME

  3. So if you fuck a bus driver, do you suffer from Ralph Kramden Syndrome? Are you trying to channel your inner Alice?

  4. You need periods Bride! That was hard to read.

Metro Transit should be deemed an essential service. Why would government even be involved in it if it wasn’t a key service? Also, the water commission, why aren’t they an essential service? Anyone remember Walkerton?

  5. the are unions all over the place, gary puckett and the UNION gap, the UNION army the now defunct soviet UNION, nad of course the UNION of douchebags, to which i guess you belong to.

  6. So basically, MTU is saying that the MT drivers need to lead pathetic lives, where all they do is work, and barely scrape by, so that he, and others with the same ideals don’t have to walk, cab, carpool, bike, etc to wherever they want to go. Mmmmkay, that sounds super reasonable to me. I realize that it is a huuuuuuuuge inconvenience for people to be without public transportation, but really, do these drivers deserve any less of a life, or unsafe working conditions just so that we can all get to where ever it is that we are going? How dare you say that the union is willing to screw people over! They are trying to fix a broken system, if anything. AND people need to start relying on themselves a little more to get where they’re going, to get done what needs to be done. Stop pointing fingers and playing the blame game. Life isn’t about getting your own way, if the door slams shut, find a window. What the hell did people do before public transportation anyhow? I know! They relied on themselves for transportation!
