To whoever popped my bicycle tire last weekend in front of the Dalhousie Mona Campbell building on Coburg, YOU ARE AN ASSHOLE!!!!

I just bought this bike and spent all my money on the purchase. I now can’t afford a new tube and no longer have a ride-able bike.
You were probably just being a drunk Halloween idiot, but way to fuck someone over that you don’t even know.

Go get herpes from some fellow Halloween sleaze next time. —Miss Angry New Unicycler

  1. At least it happened now and not in the middle of summer. You wouldn’t have been able to ride it soon anyway. I’m sure you can save up enough money to repair it by spring. Sucks though.

  2. For fuck sakes princess, you can’t afford a repair kit? Where do you live? I’ll bring you one.

  3. You might have picked up a shard of broken glass and had a slow leak while it was locked up. It happens to me all the time.

If your wheel had been kicked in by a drunk I’d be pissed.

  4. A patch kit is like 2 bucks at cdn tire (probably less at mec) and if you can’t find a gas station that still has free air cyclesmith on quinpool has or had a hose out front for free.

  5. I’ve lived in Halifax my entire life. Biking in winter ruins your bike. A lot of people retire their bikes for the season. I see lots of people riding old shitty bikes in the winter for just that reason. If OP, after getting so bent out of shape by this incident, wants to cut the lifespan of their brand new bike in half by letting it get eaten by road salt, then I’d be really surprised.

  6. How is it you can’t afford a new tube for your bike, but you can afford a computer to whine on here? Transportation vs. Anonymous bitching via the internet……seems like a no brainer to me!
