A patch kit is like 2 bucks at cdn tire (probably less at mec) and if you can’t find a gas station that still has free air cyclesmith on quinpool has or had a hose out front for free.
I’ve lived in Halifax my entire life. Biking in winter ruins your bike. A lot of people retire their bikes for the season. I see lots of people riding old shitty bikes in the winter for just that reason. If OP, after getting so bent out of shape by this incident, wants to cut the lifespan of their brand new bike in half by letting it get eaten by road salt, then I’d be really surprised.
