Listen up, asspipes. If I am going the speed limit, it does not entitle you to drive right up my ass. I am not going to speed up because you’re so fucking impatient. Suck it up, you bastards. I am not going to break the law so you can get somewhere 3 seconds faster. I hate you bumper sucking fuckers and my cruise control will act accordingly.

Yes, there are posted speed limits. and then there is the flow of traffic. as Young Drivers beat into my brain- it’s safer for EVERYONE to go with the flow….and if that means speeding up slightly, or better yet making sure others can pass you if you are uncomfortable doing so, that’s better than flipping them off and getting all rightous.
He is in front so he is setting the flow…and he does have a point. Though I cannot say I am always driving the limit, I do make sure I don’t tailgate…I hate it myself so…
On my two lane road, I usually go 5 or 10 km over the limit, depending on conditions, yet there is ALWAYS some prick on my bumper cursing and waving their arms because I refuse to endanger myself or traffic coming in the opposite direction. Some of these imbeciles don’t even acknowledge the double lines, they will just zoom by with their huge sense of entitlement. I can only hope they careen into a ditch one day and get an airbag jammed in their selfish throats.
OK, that is a little overthetop….however the op sounded like one of those jerk faces who drive at precisely the speed limit, or better yet, under the posted limit, just for spite, to teach us all a lesson and exert some sort of impotent rage or something. I’m sure they all have deepseated issues, but that doesn’t give them the right to endanger everyone behind them. Particularly on highways, I’ve seen many people doing this sort of thing, sometimes even in the passing lane, just tooling along at 80 or 90 in a 100 or 110 zone. coming up on them, I’ve had to slow down quickly many times, and I’m always worried I’m going to get rear ended by the person behind me, unable to stop in time. bit of a tangent too but if yoU MUST do exactly the speed limit,a void the passing lane. for that matter, if you’re not actually passing, stay out of that lane- I hate not being able to pass the snail in front of me because I’ve got a slightly-faster snail beside me.
When you travel daily on a two lane highway, it doesn’t seem to matter how fast you go ’cause there’s always someone who wants to go faster. Since there are no sidewalks where I reside, I cringe that some kid or cyclist is going to get smeared because of some impatient cunt roaring by on a double line.I agree that going slower than the speed limit is wrong, especially these days because very, very few drivers have anything resembling patience.
I don’t think it’s patience really. I drive bedford highway everyday to work and back. I run into morons who for some reason think on that highway they need to slow down to like 20 or 30 while passing a cyclist in the cycling lane! They have their own lane, why the hell are you slowing down? I saw one last night actually going the speed of the cyclist for some reason, pissing off everyone behind him! Luckily it was the opposite lane of traffic. No no, I love those ones that stop with the bus, the metro transit bus, that pulls aside and clears the lane, but for some reason you have morons who stop with the bus, at every stop! They clearly have enough room to continue on their merry way.
