  1. Ha, the only thing you are qualified for at this time is sitting in front of the computer uploading your resume for the jobs being advertised. Unplug. Get your resume ready. Approach organizations where you WANT to work and are QUALIFIED to do so and let them know you are interested and available. There are hundreds of other losers out there relying solely on the online job banks.

When you send your cover letter – NEVER – EVER – EVER address it to ‘Whom it may Concern” …… it don’t concern anybody! Look up the information and locate the person in HR and address it to them or the owner of the small business. CALL the company and ask if the information is not readily available.

  2. A *whole* three months? Trooper, you are.

And that’s cool Koda, except any place that is hiring besides a rural chain or locally owned business will tell you to apply online if you go there in person. Even then, I worked in a restaurant a few years ago and we’d have a thick stack of resume’s every week that would go in the recycling, and that was without posting a a job ad.

  3. Agree Fish, but a personal visit to a place you WANT to work and are QUALIFIED could lead to an impromptu visit with one of the decision makers. Then, when an opening comes up they have a face to go with the name.

Always be one step ahead of the crowd.

  4. How does writing a “bitch” get you a job? You’re time is better spent on job hunting, no?!

And if you can afford internet service, you’re doing fine.
