OK, seriously… can we get some arrows painted in the north/south lanes at Windsor and North and Windsor and Almon streets? some people just don’t know what to do and with no guidance at all, I’ll admit some days I don’t either. A little paint would bring a lot of clarity. —Grrrrr

you could have brick walls come up, and some douche will always find a way to circumvent them. it’s what being human is all about.
That is a bad area, whether you’re on hooves, 2 wheels or 4.
Why don’t you avoid the area altogether? Don’t ypou find it frightfully plebian?

I just e-mailed HRM about this issue, because that intesection has perplexed me since I moved here. IMO there are valid points for both the left or right lane being the straight through one. I will post on the bitch board if they give me an answer.
You always drive in the right lane, unless you are making a left turn or passing. The right lane always goes straight through, unless marked otherwise. Seriously, how did some people pass their driver’s test?
Queen, not necessarily… because where two lanes turn into one it is the right lane that ends unless otherwise marked. In this case the left lane would go straight.
m_kegg,you have that backwards. When lanes merge, the driver in the left lane has to yield to the driver in the right lane.
