  1. Question, did you ASK for help or did you walk around like you knew what you were looking for? Customer service works in both directions. As a retail manager, you of all people should know that. As well, you also know that some people do not liked to be desended upon the moment you walk in the store.

  2. I chose not to go into a store specifically for the reason that every time I walked in there was this girl who would swoop down on me and follow me around until finally I would just have to leave… I agree with Leafs Fan, if you want help , ASK!I don’t MIND if someone comes up and asks me if I need anything but I am not going to hold it against them if they are standing there not approaching me BUT making themselves available to me if I need them. I do not want or need to feel like I am being pursued for a sale, I do not need some disingenuous person with some fake smile looking at me like I am their last meal. No thank you! my only request would be just be available, don’t have personal conversations in front of me with either a co-worker or on the phone, and know the products of the store or other same stores and be willing to look for things if I ask…

  3. To tell you the truth I hate it when store employees ask me questions I like to shop in quiet and if I require assistance I will ask for it.
